The Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument’s unique resources and landscape makes it a California treasure worthy of the national protection today’s presidential action affords. The beautiful North Coast Range region is a remarkable exhibit of the geological processes that forged California’s landscape, its terrain harbors abundant wildlife, from bald eagles to California newts, and its features provide exceptional recreational opportunity.
