CAREER DAY 650 €

10th November 2016 – X Edition - Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista di Venezia

Ca’ Foscari Career Day is a recruiting event that will appeal to all students , undergraduates and recent

graduates of the study areas of the University : Economics , Linguistics, Chemistry / Enviromental Sciences,

Information Technology and Humanities. The event also includes also an international section, dedicated to

companies and organizations interested in selecting young students and recent graduates in order to offer

them internships or job opportunities abroad.

Participation in the University’s Career Day is subject to the availability of spaces, the number of participants

and the evaluation of the application by the Careers Office. The event will take place at Scuola Grande San

Giovanni Evangelista of Venice (Venice, Italy).

• Standard Desk (desk – 3 chairs – coat stand – table cover).

• Company logo in all promotional materials.

• Promotion of the company’s participation in the event through the placement of the logo on advertising

materials and through our Facebook , Twitter , Instagram accounts and the Internships and Careers Office

newsletter ( 25 thousand contacts ) and the University website.

• Job descriptions are placed on the University web page dedicated to the event, in the catalog distributed

to all participants and also posted online.

•Pre-screening of CVs according to the company’s requirements, and Virtual Matching with a list of

potential candidates (min 1 – max 3) sent in advance by the Careers Office

•3 lunch and coffee break passes

Supplementary Services

Company advertising page in the event catalogue (provided by the Company) 500 €

45-minute company presentation the day before the event (9th November 2016) 250 €

(the limited number of presentations will be decided according to the programme)

DEADLINE FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION

The Application form has to be sent back via email to stage.estero@unive.it or via fax (+ 39 041 2347954). If you are interested in taking part in Ca’ Foscari Career Day please send the Application form by 16.05.2016 at the latest. If you are interested in participating in business presentations, please contact directly our International Internship Office at least 2 months before the presentation. This deadline will allow us to handle specific requests of the companies on time. If you have specific requirements or need more time to evaluate our proposal, please contact the Careers Office beforehand. If you choose our additional services, the application will be followed by the stipulation of the contract between the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice Foundation and the company. In the contract all technical and organisational aspects will be defined.

The University will then send the company all the required documents in order to formalise

the collaboration and the method of payment. All the above listed prices are VAT excluded

according to Italian law.

By filling in this form the company authorises Ca’ Foscari University of Venice to use its

personal data (on the website as well, but only for institutional purposes), according to Italian

law (D.L 196/03 about privacy).

The Careers Office can publish, free of charge, Graduate Programs, Business Games and events organized

The Company is looking for you

Meetings between companies and students/new graduates

The Careers Office gives the opportunity to organize a limited number of meetings with students and graduates,

through presentations and / or visits to companies to be included in the annual program, according to the

availability of space and time defined by the academic calendar . The periods to organise these events can be

from February to April and from October to December . The application to these events should be submitted to

the Career Service at least two months prior to the event.

Presentation at Ca’ Foscari University focusing on your own organization and structure and job

opportunities for potential candidates .

Promotion and Communication

Creation of promotional material with the Company’s logo and image

Presentation at Ca’ Foscari University focusing on your own organizational reality, on the company’ s

structure and of entering the labour process with the possibility to gather potential candidates.

The presentation will proceed with an informal buffet coffee break with candidates.

Presentation organised at the University via Skype / e-learning of the organizational structure of the

company and of the processes of employment for a group of pre-selected candidates by the Internships

Office on the basis of objective criteria provided by the company to be done at the University. At the end

of the meeting the Company can conduct individual and/or collective interviews with candidates in a

classroom prepared with a Skype connections .

Promotion of the event through the University website, Social Networks and Newsletter of Internships and Careers Office

Communication by email and through Web Site with potential candidates

1 hour 30 minutes presentation of the business reality with connection via Skype

Management of interview schedule : contact with the candidates selected through the pre - screening in

order to schedule selection meetings during the event managed by the Internships Office in the room

dedicated to one-to-one interviews via Skype

Candidates who have passed the pre - selection will be invited to a meeting in the classroom held

by professionals of the Internships Abroad Office . The Office will prepare the candidates for

meetings with the company through CV check activities. Required profiles will be presented

together with strategies to better face the interview
