CITYLINK TULLA WIDENING: TEMPORARY REMOVAL OF ONSTREET PARKING – GREENBANK CRESCENT

The CityLink Tulla Widening project involves adding lanes and other measures to improve the flow of traffic across the 24 kilometre section of freeway from the CityLink tunnels to Melbourne Airport. The project will also provide travel time savings per trip between Melbourne Airport and the West Gate Freeway during peak periods.

Once completed, the project will deliver a safer, more reliable freeway. Generally, an additional lane is being added in each direction, as well as upgrades at key interchanges including Bell Street, Mount Alexander Road / Flemington Road and on the Bolte Bridge to West Gate Freeway entry ramp.

Leighton Contractors is the construction contractor for the Bulla Road to Power Street section of the project.

Previously we notified you (letter ref: 0031) about restrictions to parking on the eastern side of Greenbank Crescent over the coming months. The location was incorrect.

The temporary removal of on-street parking will apply to the western side of Greenbank Crescent to allow access for our larger construction vehicles and equipment. Our current program indicates that these changes will start from around March 2016. We are working with Moreland City Council on this change to parking conditions and residents will receive a separate notification letter in advance outlining dates and times.
