Social control- Japan's society conformed its citizens into single-minded, work-obsessed citizens.
Conflict Perspective – Intensely competitive education system starts as a child
Self-image – kids lose their personal worth when they have failed, regarded as valueless by adults.
Role – Unemployment increase drastically, people who endured to find a role within society might not find one at all.
Communication – Japanese children cannot communicate their true feelings.

instability, and the homicidal force.
Method: Various sources of first-hand ( survey) and second-hand
information (research)
Conclusion: Christians labelled firmly of homicidium as an evil-doing But murder has never changed, opposing the hypocritical act
of convicting murder by the Christian.

Summary of Bolivian mob killing 54 people in 2008
Mob formed quickly and punished the gangs by gang beating and setting them afire.
Media such as YouTube began to broadcast this violence across the world, enraging many communities.

Objective: To see how race is a determining factor in crime.
Method: Used an analyzed/ data gathering method where she gathered data from about 182 cities in the united states.
Conclusions: Race doesn’t matter when it comes to social deviance.

Norms- In the Middle Eastern culture, it is acceptable to abuse one’s partner by both sexual and physical means unlike in the western culture

Self-Control: Overview of “Something Old, Something New: A Preliminary Investigation

Objective- Piquero was summarizing and concluding studies on
human self control done by Gottfredson and Hirsch and how self control links to criminal activity
Method- The researchers used a survey method and surveyed a

Males are definitely more likely to break social norms, even to enforce social norms with violent methods.
