“Preparing today’s students to conquer tomorrow’s challenges”
Congratulations to South’s Varsity Field Hockey team who defeated Suffern by a score of 3-0 to win the Section One Regional Field Hockey Championship last month under the leadership of Coach Jordan Turner. According to South’s Athletic Director, Khris Arvanites, “These girls showed up every day, never complained, and always followed all of the safety rules which involved wearing a mask at all times during strenuous activity. It was a storybook and rewarding ending to a challenging season.”

Clarkstown South’s athletic facilities received an update this fall resulting in the main athletic turf field, track and tennis courts replaced. The replacement of the athletic turf field and track (shown right) included a redesign of the Viking at the 50 yard line. The tennis courts (shown below), showcase six new courts, new handball and shuffleboard courts and new fencing and gating around the courts. In addition, this renovation included much needed spectator bleachers. South began playing competitively on the fields and courts on October 26 through the end of the fall season.
Congratulations to our Student Athletes who recently signed to play Division One sports in college. Pictured with their parents are Lindsey Hoag (left) who will play
softball for Manhattan College, Francesca Arciniegas (center) who will swim at Northeastern University and Aine Keaney (right) who will play field hockey at Sacred Heart University.
