Cynthia E. LashEr, PartnerCynthia Lasher, named as an Indiana Super Lawyer Rising Star honoree in 2010, 2011 and 2014 to 2018, is a partner at Norris Choplin Schroeder LLP. She represents clients in a variety of litigation matters.

On behalf of her clients, Cindy has successfully negotiated settlements prior to trial, obtained summary judgment and has received favorable judgments for clients at trial. Her experience includes a clerkship with Judge John G. Baker of the Indiana Court of Appeals and internships at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the former State Emergency Management Agency.

While in college, she excelled academically as a Wells Scholar and was a member of Golden Key and Phi Beta Kappa. Before law school, Cindy spent a year studying in Madrid, Spain, where she became fluent in Spanish. In law school, Cindy was named a Jump Scholar and was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Moot Court Board.

Born in Decatur, Indiana, Cindy volunteers as a cantor and a member of the choir for St. Christopher Catholic Church in Indianapolis. She is active in her local community, where she serves as a board member of the Indianapolis Shakespeare Company and her homeowners’ association.
