SP1O84FVE-SKIMMER WITH EQUALIZER VALVE AND FLOAT VALVE ASSEMBLY
A. EQUALIZER-Model SP1078 Equalizer Valve Assembly installs over front port, andis used in conjunction with the SP1082FV Float Valve Assembly. lf water level dropsbelow skimmer opening, or if skimmer flow is obstructed, the float will automaticallysnap shut and the equalizer valve will open. This diverts all flow to the pump from theequalizer line and prevents airlock in the pump- When the pump is shut off, and thewater level condition is corrected, the float will rise and the equalizer valve will close,allowing normal skimming operation when the pump is restarted.
B. TO VACUUM Select one convenient skimmer and remove cover. Fill vacuum hosewith water and insert onto SP1106 or SP1107 Skim-Vac (not supplied with skimmer)over basket vacuum-plate (not supplied with skimmer). Place Skim-Vac throughskimmer opening and over skimmer basket. Turn circulating pump on and proceedwith vacuuming. Throttle downflow from other skimmer(s) until desired suction isobtained through vacuum hose.
