ABOUT PHILOSOPHER SEEDS

Philosopher Seeds is a cannabis seed bank in-volved in breeding projects since the 90's, which entered the market in 2008 hand in hand with Alchimia Grow Shop.

We are an artisan seed bank, everything is hand-made with extreme care and then supervised by reputed professionals of the sector. We produce our own seeds using our own genetics, which is a guarantee of quality.

Since the 90's, our investigation, research and development team works hard everyday to keep, breed and share our best genetics. Something that would have not been possible without the task of those cannabis pioneers who brought these excel-lent strains to our grow rooms.

Philosopher Seeds has established a close re-lationship with several cannabis breeders: Jimi from Reggae Seeds, one of their best friends and collaborators, has developed the Golo Line, while the OSG Collective has created a top-quality line of autoflowering strains and is developing new regular varieties.

Our team of collaborators also includes other breeders, as is the case of our Classic Line, reliable professionals who have helped us to keep the first strains developed by the seed bank.

We also have a group of close friends and growers who regularly perform test crops with different growing systems and substrates, ensuring the sta-bility and adaptive capacity of all our varieties.

Everything is ready to enjoy the Philosopher Seeds experience.

The first strains of this category entered the market in 2008 exclusively through Alchimia Grow Shop.

Our goal was sharing the best classic strains that we were growing since the 90's.

The first strains of our catalogue were Easy Haze and Philo Skunk, to which different varieties have been added over time.

The most productive THC bomb

Page 7: C A T AL OGUE - Philosopher Seeds · recommend germinating the seeds in late March or early April to harvest our plants in August. Photos and user comments of this early flowering

Genetics

Black Bomb is the result of a cross between a famous Black Domina clone (to which we wanted to add sweetness and production) and our Tropimango male.

Cultivation

Ideal for indoor and outdoor grows with low humidity at the end of bloom. Very productive. Suitable for extractions.

Black Bomb is a stable and homogeneous variety. It grows very robust and compact, with little branching. We recommend at least three weeks of growth since the internodal spacing is short. Its low struc-ture makes it perfect for the Sea of Green technique. With a concentration of 25 to 30 plants per m2 optimal production can be easily achieved.

We recommend increasing the amount of nutrients between the third and sixth week of flowering, which promotes flower development and increases yields.

Outdoors, Black Bomb is a strong, round-ed and compact plant. Due to the high density of its buds it is sensitive to mold infections.

During the formation of its bushy buds, we can see the formation of a thick layer of resin that covers them. This plant is very easy to grow and resistant to pests and diseases as long as humidity is kept at optimal levels.

Taste and effects

To enjoy it to the fullest, please cure for a minimum of two weeks.

Its flavors gravitate between sweet and earthy notes on the palate with intense af-tertaste. A true pleasure, particularly tasty when smoked in a vaporizer.

Being a true Indica with high concentra-tions of THC, the most spectacular of the qualities of Black Bomb is its effect, ideal to relax at the end of the day. Suitable for anyone looking for sedative effects.

Genetics

For this breeding project we started with a selection of NY City Diesel from Soma Sacred Seeds, a plant with a strong diesel flavor, which was pollinated with our Tropimango male to improve both yield and structure but without altering the organoleptic properties of NYCD that we liked so much.

Cultivation

Ideal for indoor grow rooms and also suit-able for outdoor crops.

Heaven's Fruit is a compact plant with short, lush leaves. Its bright green color contrasts with the resin that covers its buds during the flowering stage. Its flowers are spectacular, dense and compact.

It is very stable, uniform and suitable for cultivation in Sea of Green. We recommend using 25-30 plants per m2.

The overall quality will increase with temperatures below 18°C, although a

slight decrease in yield may be observed. If temps are low, the leaves may darken at the end of flowering, acquiring a spectacu-lar purple/black color.

It grows with pyramid shape when grown outdoors, looking elegant and beautiful. If temperatures drop below 15°C during the last weeks of flowering, it will become completely purple.

Its outstanding resistance to pests and dis-eases makes it a ideal for any type of crop.

Taste and effects

As a result of this cross with Tropimango, the diesel flavor of NYCD is a bit milder in the offspring, with delicious sweet and earthy notes. This strain is an absolute must for Diesel lovers seeking more subtle nuances.

The initial rush of euphoria is followed by a relaxing feeling which lasts several hours, an effect explained by the high content of THC, THCV and CBG found in most individuals.

Genetics

Tropimango is the result of a self-pollina-tion (S1) of a selection of the legendary and multi-awarded Somango strain. This treasure came into our hands thanks to the generosity of a very close friend of our company.

Cultivation

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor grows with low humidity at the end of bloom.

Tropimango is a plant with large, dark and lush leaves and very short internodal spacing, which becomes a little longer as the plant reaches sexual maturity. It is very easy to grow because of its robust structure and tolerance to large amounts of nutrients. We recommend to keep tem-peratures below 28°C.

It performs well with the SOG technique, using 20-25 plants per m2 with a growth period of three weeks. Its buds are tight, heavy and compact and completely coated with aromatic, bright white resin.

If grown outdoors, dense and compact plants are obtained. We recommend planting in early April to increase yields. If a smaller plant is desired for a more dis-creet crop, wait till mid-May or use 25-50L containers.

Beware of rains and dew during bloom, for the high density of its buds may increase the chances of mold infections.

Taste and effects

This plant honours its name: Tropimango smells of tropical fruits, particularly mango. This scent is perfectly replicated on the palate when smoked, so smell and taste are perfectly matched. Its flavour is long last-ing and leaves a delicious fruity aftertaste.

Vapers (vaporizer users) will experience a real terpene tide with Tropimango.

Its Indica dominance and high content of THC provides calming, serene and active effects. A feeling that allows us to perform our daily activities peacefully and with a smile on our face.

Genetics

Amnesika 2.0 is the evolution of our first variety, Amnesika. With the aim to increase yield and shorten the flowering period we crossed the Amnesia "Cordoba cut" and the renowned Critical Mass from Mr Nice Seed Bank.

Cultivation

Recommended for massive yields, both indoors and outdoors.

This strain has explosive growth and short flowering period. It is ideal for the SOG method with 25-30 plants per m2. In this case, we recommend a growth period of around 2 or 3 weeks and to remove all low-er branches, for it tends to develop plenty of side branches.

Outdoors, it grow vigorous and tall. 2 meter plants are easily obtained when planting directly in the ground. We recom-

mend 11-40L containers for balconies and terraces, especially if discretion is needed.

Growing Amnesika 2.0 is simple: it is an easy plant perfectly suited to all kinds of growing media and cultivation methods. Its structure, with medium internodal spac-ing and few leaves, enables easy pruning and trimming.

We also recommend to use meshes or plant tutors to support the weight of the buds.

Taste and effects

Amnesika 2.0 brings a subtle blend of Skunk and Haze notes. It is a particularly aromatic plant, both fresh and dried. The flavor is sweet and very original, particular-ly reminiscent of hazelnuts.

The effect is overwhelming and highly psychactive. In short, please enjoy it near a couch, you’re going to need it!

Genetics

Early Maroc comes from a very early selection of a pure strain (landrace) from Morocco.

Since this variety is particularly difficult to grow indoors, developing the feminized version became a long and hard work.

Cultivation

Ideal for outdoor grows and Guerilla crops. Not recommended for indoor growers. Suitable for making dry sieved hashish.

Without a doubt, the best attribute of Early Maroc is its fast flowering. It is harvested in mid-August in temperate climates. We recommend germinating the seeds in late March or early April to harvest our plants in August. Photos and user comments of this early flowering cannabis strain can be seen on our blog.

Early Maroc produces robust, compact and easy to grow plants. It reaches average

heights (125-175 cm), enough to provide good yields even with minimal care or if planted in arid lands. Its precocity and low demand of nutrients and water make it ideal for guerrilla growers.

If you plan to use pots, 50-60L contain-ers will be enough for the plant to fully develop.

The lighting, nutritional and environmental conditions needed to grow this strain are special, so we do not recommend Early Maroc for indoor cultivation.

Taste and effects

The scent of the live plant is sweet, reminis-cent of strawberry bubblegum. Once dried and cured, this scent is transformed into a spicy fragrance with noble wood and black pepper notes.

The effect is slightly euphoric at first, be-coming more relaxing effect after a while. This second phase is of short duration.

Genetics

Easy Haze is a self-pollination (S1) of a Special K plant which inherited the best qualities of both parents: the strong, bushy and compact structure from Yumbolt and the thin leaflets, incensed aroma and clear sativa effect from Kali Mist (Western Winds).

Cultivation

Easy Haze is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. High yields with haze aroma.

This is a very easy to grow plant with extraordinary yields. It develops lots of side branches, thus being recommended for the SCROG technique. Its internodal spacing and overall size are relatively short compared to other Sativas.

It can deal with nutritional imbalances, temperature stress, pests and diseases and

is particularly resistant to high environ-mental humidity, a true all-terrain strain!

It is also perfectly suited for outdoor culti-vation. If grown in soil it reaches amazing heights, and its high yielding branches become completely covered with bright trichomes. Apical pruning is an efficient way to keep the height under control. Use 25-50L containers if discreet plants are needed.

Taste and effects

Both the taste and scent of this Haze vari-ety have citric and metallic notes, reminis-cent of tropical pineapples. As the curing process advances, delicious spicy hints will be easily detected.

Its effect is typical of Haze strains, not suitable for tasks requiring concentration. In short, it is a Sativa strain with high THC content which provides a magnificent and pleasant psychedelic effect.

Genetics

Philo Skunk is a Somango x Mazar hybrid. These two strains were previously crossed with Skunk. The result clearly retains all the qualities of the Skunk family while improv-ing yields and vigor.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation.

It is develops vigorous but needs tutors or meshes from the third or fourth week into flowering (12/12) to support the weight of its heavy buds.

The ideal number of plants for using the SOG technique is 20-25 plants/m2, with a growth period of three weeks. On the other

hand, if the SCROG method is used we rec-ommend 9-15 plants per m2, with a growth period of three to five weeks.

Easy to grow, it is a variety that does not require special care.

Outdoors, this plant grows huge and can easily exceed two meters in height.

Taste and effects

The most outstanding and distinctive trait of this cannabis strain is undoubtedly its taste and aroma, which are sweet and fruity, typical of Skunk genetics. The flavor reminds of noble wood as the drying and curing process advances.

Its effect is relaxing, suitable to relieve ten-sion, enjoy a good movie or listen to music.

Golo Line is the result of a collaboration between Reggae Seeds and Philosopher Seeds.

In this collaboration we have joined efforts and experience to develop strains which stand out for their amazing scent, taste and effect.

To achieve it, we used parents with unique and outstanding organoleptic features.

We used parents like our Tropimango male and CBD strains to stabilize the offspring and make it more compact.

With this breeding project, we got marijuana strains with very interesting THC:CBD ratios, with lots of potential therapeutical applications.

GeneticsThe parental used to create Fruity Jack come from the genepool of our friends and collaborators from Reggae Seeds. To develop this variety we used a Respect #13 plant, winner at 2012 Spannabis.

The male parent used was a reversed Jack the Ripper female: a sativa phenotype with relatively short flowering which brings flavor and Haze effect, besides greatly stabilizing the hybrid.

CultivationIdeal strain for both indoor and outdoor growers. High yields and top grade hash-ish.

Fruity Jack is a strong plant with few leaves and thus very easy to trim. The Jack The Ripper parent is ideal to produce stable offspring.

Because of its Sativa dominance we recom-mend using 9-16 plants per m2. The SOG technique can also be used with 20 plants per m2 if the growth period is omitted and

the seeds are put directly under bloom photoperiod.

Please notice that this strain needs high amounts of nutrients to show its full potential.

Fruity Jack requires full and abundant feed-ing during all stages. It is perfect for both hydroponics and soil.

Its resin-coated buds make it ideal for production of high quality hashish.

Taste and effectsIn this variety we find a balanced blend of the flavors of both parents, with prevalent Haze notes but with fruity and citric hints from the Juanita. It offers a wide range of fruity undertones, especially when vaped.

We recommend it to disconnect and listen to music or to enjoy a quiet moment in nature.

The THC:CBD ratio of this genetics is 2:1. The presence of CBD balances the side effects of THC without losing its stimulant and psychoactive effect.

Genetics

To create Sweet Love our breeding team has crossed the popular Juanita la Lagrimo-sa from Reggae Seeds and our Tropimango male, which adds sweetness, structure and stability. Undoubtedly, the result is gaining attention for its interesting organoleptic and therapeutic properties.

Cultivation

Ideal for indoor and outdoor cultivation, high yields.

Sweet Love is a large plant which devel-ops a main central bud and shorter side branches, looking like a Christmas tree. Its growth is vigorous and uniform, so we recommend using around 12 plants per m2 to enhance lateral branching. 20/25 plants can also be grown in the same space with theSOG technique, thus encouraging the

development of the main stem.

Oudoors, and if discretion is needed, the height of Sweet Love can be controlled by using pots of smaller capacity. In this case we should germinate the seeds in late spring or during the first 3 weeks of summer.

Taste and effects

The organoleptic properties of Sweet Love are well known by many growers, with sweet notes that become more intense during the curing process. We recommend at least two weeks of curing to fully enjoy its potential.

The 1.5:1 THC:CBD ratio of Sweet Love induces a very pleasant rush of positive feelings, slightly relaxing your body.

It was awarded as 'best cannabis strain against pain at 2013 Growmed - BESFES'.

Genetics

Sugar Pop is from another between Reggae Seeds and ouselves. Our breeders crossed White Russian x Kalijah with male reversed Jack The Ripper this time. The obtained result gave the most Indica type variety of the Golo Line collection.

Cultivation

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. High yields. Especially recom-mended for extractions because of its high production of resin glands.

Sugar Pop shows the typical growth pat-tern of most hybrids. Average internodal spacing, beautiful green leaves and very easy to grow.

Once the photoperiod is switched to bloom, Sugar Pop develops a prominent main stem with few side branches, all cov-ered with amazing amounts of trichomes.

Yields are excellent, with compact, frosty buds.

SugarPop is very resistant to high tempera-tures as well as pests and diseases. Pay par-ticular attention to the amount of nutrients as it is a bit sensitive to over-feeding.

Taste and effects

Sugar Pop's flavor is sweet, a trait inherited from the White Russian parent, but blends the aromas of all its parents in a balanced mix, from the earthy notes of Kalijah to the spicy haze flavor of Jack the Ripper. The smell of the live plant is discreet, thus being an excellent choice for crops that re-quire discretion. After a few days of curing, the aroma becomes much more intense and long lasting.

The effect of SugarPop is stimulating at first, becoming more relaxing after a while, ideal for the evenings to relax both body and mind.

Genetics

To create this variety we used Naran J, a prominent clone from an old variety from the closet of Reggae Seeds. It originates from a cross between New York Diesel and Morning Glory. Crossing it with the male reversed Tropimango, we have improved the existing delectable orange flavor of Naran J and we've added the vigor and productivity of the father.

This cross didn't happen by chance as we were convinced that the diesel flavor would further enhance the special citrus taste we love.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor, outdoor and Guerilla crops. High yields and unique orange flavor.

Orange Candy is a plant with robust, low and chunky structure and short internodal spacing.

If grown outdoors, pruning the tops of the branches is recommended to promote lateral branching and a more bushy shape, which increases production and makes it easier to camouflage the plants.

On the other hand, we recommend using

the SOG technique in indoor grow rooms with 20-25 plants per m2. Removing the lower branches is advised to promote the development of a prominent central bud. Do not remove these branches if less plants are used (9 to 12 plants per m2).

Orange Candy is an avid consumer of nutrients, which it easily transforms into abundant buds. This variety has the pecu-liarity of being very sensitive to the type of fertilizer (organic or mineral) used. In organic farming, its aroma is subtle, refined and mature. It will more intense but less refined with mineral nutrients.

Orange Candy is suitable for all types of systems and growers since it is resistant to pests and can easily withstand nutrient or temperature imbalances, thus being a very easy to grow cannabis strain.

Taste and effects

While we may occasionally have difficulty in defining flavor, Orange Candy leaves no doubt at all. A burst of orange flavor in the mouth gives way to a delicious diesel aftertaste. A sublime marriage for the true connoisseur.

Orange Candy's effect is uplifting, inducing a shooting and psychedelic high, which becomes body relaxing on a second phase.

Genetics

Our main goals with this hybrid were, on the one hand, to get a strain where all the offspring contained CBD, and on the other hand, to get a special, original flavor like that of Juanita la Lagrimosa.

To achieve this, we backcrossed the Juanita with a Respect # 15 (Juanita X Cannalope) hybrid. In this way, we could fix the most desired traits of Juanita, its amazing spicy flavor and CBD content.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation.

Spicy CBD growth pattern is similar to most Sativas, perhaps with shorter internodal spacing. After switching the photoperiod to bloom it stretches considerably during the first two weeks, so remember to leave enough space for the plants to fully develop during the flowering stage. It suits SCROG cultivation perfectly.

It reaches considerable heights when grown outdoors, so if you do not want to draw attention you can prune the tops or delay the germination of the seeds until the first half of July. This vigorous growth will result in spectacular yields.

The buds are spongy and highly resistant to moisture. Most plants exhibit wonderful purple colors if temperatures drop below 18ºC.

Taste and effects

Spicy CBD's flavor reminds of spices and incense. In most phenotypes aromas of curry and cumin are found.

It induces a serene, balanced and tolerable effect that transports you to a pleasant, re-laxed state of well-being. Slightly relaxing with mild psychoactive effects.

The 1:1 ratio betwen THC and CBD makes it ideal for medical treatments. Spicy CBD has almost no side effects, being ideal for therapeutic users.

Genetics

In order to get a flavor made in the USA but with our own touch, we have crossed an elite clone of Guava (Chemdog x Afghani x Chem # 91) and the awesome Juanita la La-grimosa. The resulting hybrid is a peculiar mix of earthy Guava flavors with fruity citric notes from Juanita la Lagrimosa.

Cultivation

Ideal for indoor grow rooms, also suitable for outdoor crops. High yielding strain.

Guava Berry Kush is a stable Indica phenotype which develops a robust and prominent large central bud, with little branching. The wide and dark green leaves are clearly inherited from the Guava parent.

Its compact and uniform structure makes it ideal for the SOG (Sea of Green) technique, with a recommended number of plants of 20-25 per m2.

Guava Berry Kush does not require much

nutrients. It needs to be watered regularly during the flowering period, especially at temperatures above 25°C. A great trait of this variety is the easy trimming, since it develops very few leaves.

It is resistant to pests and diseases and performs well with adverse environmental conditions and temperature imbalances.

Taste and effects

Guava Berry Kush's flavor is earthy with a sweet touch of berries. The blend of these two parents offers stunning Kush flavors, a sweetened version of Guava with long lasting aftertaste.

Guava Berry Kush induces a strong effect, leaving your body and soul in a pleasant bubble. We recommend smoking it at the end of the day to relax and to reduce stress.

Genetics

Lemon OG Candy was created by crossing an elite Super Lemon OG clone with a se-lection of the renowned Amnesia Haze. The resulting offspring is especially vigorous during the vegetative period.

Lemon OG Candy has high content in can-nabinoids and sticky trichomes that release an overwhelming citrus scent.

Cultivation

Lemon OG Candy grows fast and slender, so it doesn’t need a prolonged growth period before switching the photoperiod to bloom.

During the test crops we obtained ex-cellent results by germinating the seeds under a 12/12 photoperiod in 3.5L pots, which gives an idea of the potential of this variety.

It is easy to grow and resistant to pests, ideal for novice growers.

Taste and effects

The smell and taste remind of the best Haze, lemony and with delicious earthy and spicy undertones.

The effect is mainly cerebral and euphoric, a must for any recreational user. It highly enhances creativity and improves mood, perfect for chilling with friends.

All our automatic varieties have been stabilized for 7 generations.

We recommend Autos for outdoor crops and to make things easier for indoor growers.

They are perfect for terraces and balconies, also for guerrilla grows.

Autos allow us to perform several crops per year, so we can start enjoying our own buds in late Spring.

For best results, check our Blog for further informa-tion and growing tips.

Genetics

Cheesy Auto is the result of crossing the renowned UK Exodus Cheese elite clone and a cannabis ruderalis strain. After seven generations of work a ruderalis hybrid of high quality has been created.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor, outdoor and guerrilla crops.

Cheesy Auto is an easy to grow hybrid with robust, compact and good lateral branch-ing. Its leaves have a characteristic dark green color, while it develops a thick layer of resin during the flowering period, which makes it ideal for resin extractions.

Outdoors it produces plants which grow up to 1 meter in height, being easily camouflaged. They are ideal for growing off-season and in areas close to Ecuador, where the photoperiod remains close to 12

daily hours of light.

For optimal root development, Philosopher Seeds recommends transplanting directly into the final pot after germination. Cheesy Auto can be harvested around 65-85 days later.

In indoor grow rooms, it shows its full po-tential under a 20/4 photoperiod. In small spaces, switch to 12/12 to limit the height of the plants.

Taste and effects

Cheesy Auto subtly blends the strong scent of the mythical U.K. Cheese with a particu-lar sweet flavor reminiscent of berries.

The effect is balanced, offering a very pleasant state of physical relaxation and active mind, ideal for moments of creation where some inspiration is needed. Cheesy Auto will certainly be a good companion in the most creative moments.

The famous White Russian, but faster

Genetics

To develop Auto White Yoda we used the legendary Lowryder and a White Russian clone selected in 2002. 7 generations were needed to introduce and fix the best traits of the White Russian and thus offer the full potential of this cannabis classic.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor, outdoor and guerrilla crops.

White Yoda Auto is a very easy to grow auto variety with compact growth and a prominent central bud. It is usually ready to harvest 75-90 days after seed germination.

Outdoors, White Yoda Auto produces plenty of buds completely covered with resin glands. If grown in 20L containers during the sunny months of the year, with increased sun exposure, it can easily reach a height of 1.20 cm and yield 100/125 gr. per plant.

White Yoda Auto is ideal for novice growers who have limited indoor growing spaces. We recommended a photoperiod of 20/4 so the plants can grow to their full poten-tial. If there is less available space, the num-ber of daily hours of light can be reduced to 12. The growth of the plants won't be as explosive in this case.

Whether indoors or outdoors, it is recom-mended to transplant only once to the final pot after seed germination.

Taste and effects

White Yoda Auto keeps intact the organ-oleptic and psychoactive qualities of its female parent, White Russian. The flavor is sweet with hints of damp earth, perfectly combined and with an exquisite aftertaste.

Auto White Yoda's effect is balanced and relaxing, bringing an intense feeling of well-being for body and mind.

Genetics

Fraggle Skunk Auto is the result of crossing a Super Skunk selected in 1999 with a Lowryder. This productive strain offers all the flavor of an authentic Old School strain in an autoflowering version.

Cultivation

Highly yields. Suitable for outdoor, indoor and guerrilla crops.

Fraggle Skunk Auto grows slender and branched, being highly resistant to pests and diseases.

Outdoors, it develops quickly and vig-orously, with larger size than most ruderalis hybrid. If grown in 20L pots it

easily exceeds 1.20 meters, thus being a high-yielding autoflowering strain which can be harvested 70-90 days after seed germination.

Indoors, with a photoperiod of 20/4, it is doubtless our most productive automatic variety, yielding up to 500-600 g/m2.

Taste and effects

Fraggle Skunk Auto has a very special sweet and fruity flavor with long lasting notes from the Super Skunk parent.

Its balanced effect perfectly combines a re-laxed state of mind and a pleasant feeling that invites to socializing. Ideal for smoking with friends after a hard day of work.

Genetics

Lemon Auto CBD is the CBD-rich, autoflow-ering version of the legendary Amnesia "Hollands cut". We have crossed this plant with a Juanita x Lowryder hybrid, which also has high CBD content. Thus, we creat-ed a CBD-rich and automatic version of this renowned Amnesia selection.

Cultivation

Lemon Auto CBD is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation, as well as greenhouses and guerrilla crops.

It is very easy to grow and its growth is fast and vigorous. It develops plenty of robust side branches which surround a prominent main stem.

If grown outdoors or in a greenhouse, this strain can easily reach 1 meter in height.

Transplanting the germinated seed to the final pot (7-12L) is recommended for

proper development and best yields. Use pots of lower capacity (3-5L) if you want smaller plants.

Indoors, automatic strains are normally cultivated under a 20/4 photoperiod, thus achieving maximum yields and growth. On the other hand, if you want smaller plants you can use a photoperiod with less hours of light, like 18/6 or 12/12.

Taste and effects

We wanted to keep the characteristic smell and taste of the Amnesia "Hollands cut", rich in limonene and with intense citric notes. Some phenotypes have a delicious cherry scent, especially when the buds are ripe.

It is suitable for several therapeutic treat-ments thanks to its 1:1 THC:CBD ratio. The effect is balanced and moderated, improv-ing the mood and inducing a very pleasant feeling of wellbeing. It is an ideal strain to start treatments with cannabis.

Genetics

Cheesy Auto CBD started as a breed-ing project in which we crossed our award-winning Cheesy Auto with a CBD-rich automatic variety (Juanita la Lagrimo-sa x Lowryder). The main aim of this project was developing a new version of the Cheesy Auto with high CBD content.

Cultivation

Cheesy Auto CBD is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation, also for greenhouses and guerrilla crops.

It is a mostly Indica strain that grows com-pact with few side branches which grow close to the main stem. The leaves have a distinctive dark green color.

Cheesy Auto CBD is an excellent option for greenhouses and outdoor cultivation for its medium size, being a plant that’s easy to camouflage since it usually doesn't grow more than 1 meter tall. It can be grown

throughout the year in areas with warm climates.

It develops top quality buds indoors, com-pletely covered with a thick layer of resin glands and ideal to make resin concen-trates. It performs well in different growing mediums like soil, coco or hydroponic systems. We recommend using 10-15L pots and a photoperiod of 20 daily hours of light to see its full potential. It is perfectly suited for low consumption lighting sys-tems and small spaces.

Taste and effects

The classic flavor of our flagship automatic strain Cheesy Auto has been kept in this cross, a blend of earthy and ripe grape notes, intense and long lasting.

The cannabinoid profile (1:1 THC:CBD ratio, close to 8%) induces a placid and relaxing effect, ideal to smoke during the day.

Extracts made from this variety are ideal for therapeutic treatments.

Genetics

Our automatic strain Sleepy Yoda Auto is the result of crossing the White Yoda Auto and a special high-yielding Northern Lights with very compact buds.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor, outdoor, greenhouse and guerrilla crops.

Sleepy Yoda Auto is the new variety developed by the guys from Old School Genetics for Philosopher Seeds. It’s fast – it only needs 60-65 days from seedling – and produces lots of compact buds.

Outdoors, it easily reaches 1 meter in height and can be pruned or trained without problem if discretion is required. It can be grown throughout the year in temperate climates. The size and yield of this strain is directly related to the pot size and daily hours of light. We recommend

planting the seed into the final container once it sprouts.

It yields around 500 g/m2 of dried buds indoors under a 20/4 photoperiod. It is suitable for any growing system and me-dium (hydro, coco or soil), although when grown in soil, it shows its full organoleptic potential.

Taste and effects

This strain has inherited the sweet and musky taste of the Northern Lights parent, although some phenotypes have noble woodsy notes.

The effect of Sleepy Yoda Auto is similar to the White Yoda Auto, highly psychoactive and intense (we must remember that some White Yoda Auto phenotypes have reached 20% THC). It induces a very pleasant, relax-ing and narcotic feeling ideal to smoke at dusk.

Philosopher Seeds is proud to present a new line of regular seeds in our catalogue. This type of seeds represents the base of the whole genetic pool of cannabis, and were the only option available for growers until the 90's, when feminised seeds were placed on the market.

After further development, feminised seeds revolu-tionized the cannabis scene thanks to their better optimization of the growing space. Philosopher Seeds was aware of this situation so we first offered feminised lines to our customers.

However, and as cannabis lovers and expert growers, we think that it is time now to present our Regular Line. It includes some of our best strains in regular form, unique plants which are now finally available thanks to our master breeders.

We hope you'll enjoy this new Line as much as we do. We're sure you'll find the perfect plant for you!

True Old School Sativa

Page 53: C A T AL OGUE - Philosopher Seeds · recommend germinating the seeds in late March or early April to harvest our plants in August. Photos and user comments of this early flowering

Genetics

Regular strain from the Old School Ge-netics Collective, a true old school Sativa developed from a very special elite clone, the Jamaican x Blueberry cut selected by grower Marleys from CannabisCafé forum.

Cultivation

Suitable for indoor, outdoor, greenhouses and guerrilla crops.

Jamaican Blueberry is an early flowering, mostly Sativa variety ideal for outdoor crops and greenhouses. It develops beau-tiful colors which range from reddish to bluish, a true delight for the eyes. The buds end the bloom stage completely covered with trichomes and release a very intense lemony scent.

If planted directly in the ground it will show its full potential and Sativa behavior.

It grows fast and slender, with long and ro-bust side branches that support the weight of the buds without problem.

If grown indoors, soil is the best medium for this plant. Its Jamaican landrace genes don’t make it suitable for hydroponic sys-tems, since it is not used to high levels of oxygen in the root area. The flowering peri-od is fast, needing only 60 days to ripen.

Taste and effects

Marleys’ Jamaican Blueberry has intense citric and incensed notes, typical of some tropical Sativas. If you love old school Sati-vas you must try this one!

The effect is creative and stimulating, ideal to smoke during the daytime. It easily reaches 17% THC, and the uplifting effect that it induces is perfect to socialize and have lots of fun.

Genetics

A true high yielder, Nepal Gum OG comes from the cross between two champions at the High Times Cannabis Cup, both with buds and concentrates: the Goji OG Kush as male parent and the Bubblegum as female.

Cultivation

Nepal Gum OG does not require a pro-longed growth period due to its vigorous growth. It’s suitable for the SOG technique, using 30 plants per m2 in 3.5L pots. It also adapts well to SCROG setups if we prune the tops to enhance side branching. You can also put 9 plants per m2 in 11L pots, with a growth period of about 15-20 days.

It is highly resistant to pests - both insects and fungi – and diseases, especially root rot.

Outdoors, if large plants and yields are de-sired, we recommend to plant it directly in

the ground or using +50L containers. This way, 700g/plant can be easily harvested.

Nepal Gum OG performs well in any growing system and with any medium, soil, coco, hydro or even aeroponics. It is also an amazing trichome producer, developing resin on almost every leaf. This is no doubt a wonderful plant for making resin concen-trates: water hash, dry sift, BHO, etc.

Taste and effects

The smell and taste are sweet and fruity with a Kush background, leaving a creamy aftertaste.

After the first phase of euphoria, the effect is relaxing, leaving the mind active but calm. It induces a strong feeling of wellbe-ing, putting a smile in your face instantly. The effect is pleasant and long lasting, ideal to socialize or enjoy a good movie.

Potency is guaranteed, so have some food and drinks close to you and get ready for a true psychoactive experience.
