Construction activities at or near Bulla Road and DFO until the end of January 2017 This notification provides general information on the works* that will be carried out from now until the end of January for the CityLink Tulla Widening project in your area. Further notifications addressing specific work activities will be distributed to affected residents as required.
What is drainage works?Generally speaking these works require excavation of a trench, the installation of drainage pipes and the refilling of the trench.
What is pavement & resurfacing?This includes all the work involved in the construction of roads and edges.
What is profiling?This work involves grinding down the existing road surface using a rotary drum to ensure surface levels match.
What is soil nailing?Reinforcing the embankment with steel bars to prevent land slippage.
These works will be carried out during day and night shifts and will generate general construction noise only that is not expected to cause significant inconvenience to residents.
