Newcomers and refugee claimants represent a significant increase in our demographics.
There is also over-representation of LGBTQ2S+, gender fluid and trans identifying youth and their intersectional identities.
Like all shelters across the City of Toronto, Eva’s sees an over-representation of Black and Indigenous young people.
