COMPANY PROFILE

Navair International Private Limited is the acknowledged leaders in the field of

Passive Fire Protection System. We have been manufacturing and marketing these

systems for over 32 years. We manufacture high quality Passive Fire Protection

Systems, which not only prevents the occurrence of fire, but, also prevents its

propagation ensuring minimal damage and loss of human lives and property. Such

systems have now become mandatory as per various local building codes and fire

safety norms.

The company’s works are spead across two facilities spreading over a total of

35,000.00 Sqmtrs located in two of the most prestigious industrial complexes in

Hayrana, India in the outskirts of New Delhi.

The commercial office is located in an well connected commercial centre in south

Delhi. The office complex is fully computerized with excellent ambience for a lively

working environment. Over the years, the group has build a strong India wide

distribution network, with a dedicated team of engineers and highly trained man

Application of Our Products:

Navair doors can be used in high-rise buildings, metro railway stations,

telecom centres, power plants, cellular network stations, garment processing

units, shopping malls, industrial plants, multiplexes, hotels, auditoriums,

software parks, restaurants, etc. Our doors and frames are designed to

perform and in the most demanding environment.

The Company has several strategic collaborations with other leading brands and

various multi-national Companies and is exclusive marketing and channel partners.

i) M/s. Saint Gobain Glass India Ltd. – Excusive Partner for Glazing and Vision Panels. M/s. Saint Gobain Glass India Limited are the market leaders in terms of

manufacture of high technology glasses, which are used for high thermal

applications. We have jointly tested and developed Fire rated Glazed Doors

and Partitions which are suitable for special requirements where high

visibility is required and aesthetics is key

CERTIFICATION

All the above products have been repeatedly tested and certified at repurted India

and International Laboratories like IIT, Roorkee, Warrington Fire ( UK ), Thomas

Bell Wright ( Dubai ), Intertek ( Switzerland ).

We have our products tested to the laters standards in Fire Safety namely, BS 476

part 20 – 22, IS 3614 Part 1 , UL 10B /10C.

EXPERIENCE

We have a rich experience of doing turnkey jobs across the entire spectrum and

cover all verticals of project implementation, of Airports, Railways, Thermal and

Nuclear Power Plants, Stadiums, Commercial and Residential buildings, Factories,

Hospitals, Hotels, Multiplexes etc etc.

We have successfully executed several large orders exceeding INR. 2200 Lacs and

Labelling is not obligatory but Recommended

According to IS / BS, a fire door can be

tested without having leaf of an active

latch bolt but with only a self-closing

device.

A fire door MUST be self-closing. Only the

active door leaf of an access panel (service

ducts) or cupboards, can however be

installed without a closer but with a dead

lock and a “Fire Door, Keep Shut” sign

placed clear on the door face.

Unless shown to be satisfactory when

tested as part of a fire door assembly, the

components of any hinge on which the door

is hung should be made entirely from

materials having a melting point of at least

800 C.

If a fire door is held open, it must be

equipped with a tested, automatic release

mechanism actuated by an automatic fire

detection and alarm system, fusible link

(not if door is fitted in an opening provided

as means of escape), or a door-closed delay

device.

Two fire doors may be fitted in the same

opening so that the total fire resistance is

the sum of their individual fire resistances.

Signs and other items of hardware

containing plastic shouldn’t be fitted on the

non-fire side other metal door or frame.

A fire door must have a label attached indicating

the fire test rating.

Doors are rated for 3/4 of the rating of the

surrounding wall.

Every fire door must have a labelled self-latching

device to engage the strike. Dead bolts may not

be used in place of latch bolts.

A fire door MUST be self-closing.

Steel ball bearing hinges must be used. Brass,

bronze or other bases cannot be used. Plain

bearing hinges cannot be used as well.

If a fire door is held open, it must be equipped

with a listed / tested, heat responsive or

electromagnetic device, fusible link or a smoke

detection device.

Only listed / tested fire door hardware shall be

used.

A fire door with glass opening must be provided

with a listed / tested glass, a steel frame and

glazing bead.

Every assembly configuration such as transom

panel, louver, vision panel, frame material,

thickness of metal, leaf construction, core type,

door set type (single, double or double egress),

etc., must be covered by the test certificate or

global assessment report issued by the testing

agency.
