Stage 1: Egg
The queen bee lays an egg in one of the many wax cells.

Stage 2: Larva
21 days later the egg hatches and its in the form of a larva. It is first fed royal jelly but then switches to honey and pollen.

Stage 3: Pupa
While there still a larva they molt. They spin a cocoon and become a pupa.

Stage 4: Young Worker Bee
The young worker bees jobs are to clean the hive and feed the larvae.

Stage 5: The grown worker beeThe older the honey bee gets, the switch to other task in the hives. Such as receiving nectar from older working bees and guarding the hive. Lastly, the honey bee starts to leave the hive to collect honey and pollen for the rest of her life.
