250 Delhi cops challaned for traffic violations

• NEW DELHI: Two hundred and fifty policemen have been challaned for traffic violations in the national capital this year so far.

According to Delhi Polices' statistics, 11 vehicles belonging to the city police were also challaned for violations.

• Last year, 3,684 policemen were challaned while 657 police vehicles were prosecuted for bending traffic rules in the city.

The figures were revealed by City Police Commissioner Y S Dadwal when it was pointed out that policemen were regularly found violating traffic rules
