was very clever and invented lots of things.

He was famous for painting the “Mona Lisa”. Where ever you go the Mona Lisa looks at you!

He was born in Italy.

PIERRE RENOIRPierre Renoir

painted “The Luncheon of the Boating Party.

He was from France.

VINCENT VAN GOGHVincent Van Gogh

painted “Starry, Starry Night” and “Sunflowers”.

He was from Holland.He felt angry and sad

and cut half of his ear off! Later he shot himself.

He painted his bedroom and a café. He liked to use bright colours.

SALVADORE DALISalvadore Dali was

born in Spain in 1904.

He painted strange things like bendy clocks in the sky. This is called “Surrealist” art.

ANDY WARHOLAndy Warhol did

“pop art”.That is art about

everyday things.He did images of

things like cans of soup!

from France.He lived in the 20th

century.When he was old he

made artworks using scissors and paper, like collage.

He liked to paint using straight lines. That is called “Cubism”.

He painted the “Blue Boy” which is very famous.

liked to paint flowers like poppies.

She was from America.

She liked to paint the desert and things like dead rabbits!

Holland. He was born in 1606.

Rembrandt liked to paint portraits of people.

He loved to paint and draw and he had a pet dog!
