Alice 14 years old Really smart, Never gives up, Gets depressed
easily. Temperstuous,vacuous,energetic. “I got some papers back today & I haven't
gotten anything under a B+ ”(Anonymous 133).
Chris 15 Takes care of Alice, smart, is great with
decorating. Vacuous, hopeful, tempestuous “We couldn’t afford carpeting so we’ve
painted the floor candy cane pink & the walls we’ve do in pinks & white with all the accents in warm soft red & purple ” (Anonymous 80 ).
Home, San Francisco Alice is addicted to drugs
Drugs Everywhere she goes there's drugs.
“Last night was the night I finally smoked pot” (Anonymous56).
“The air seemed to be getting thick and parts of my head were begging for it” (Anonymous75 ).
In one part of the story it described Alice and her friends Chris had gone to San Francisco for the best of their families and themselves. They go to one party and get really under the influence of drugs & they get raped.
I picked this scene because the people they got raped was Chris’ boss and they trusted her. Little did they know Shelia(Chris’ boss) was a very sick and disgusting person.
“My senses were so up that I hear someone miles away making orange and red and green ribbed Jell-o” (Anonymous 31 ).
This Scene is important because it shows how a innocent party could collapse into a dangerous party game.
Of this TV. show called 90210
The two are similar because in the show this girl named Adrianna was addicted to drugs and would do anything to have them. And in Go Ask Alice she also would do anything for drugs.
People should really read this book because it shows the reader how drugs can subjugate your life.
Yet you can be very sanguine about getting help.
Once you do get help you’ll see everything would be better without drugs.
