When did it become and Park and why?

The Rocky Mountain park was established on January 26th, 1915. It became a park because it attracted so many people to the places were the Rockies are. Some say the Rockies were created 70 million years ago and others say 40 million years ago.

Environmental issues

There aren't many environmental issues in the Rocky Mountains, only that the train from Durango, Colorado that goes to the Rockies every few hours pollutes the area and the cars of the tourists and the skiers from all over coming to snowboard or ski.
