All our products are made of natural materials. The wool we use comes from North European sheep that are reared with care. The flax we

use for our linen grows at the Atlantic coast and nurtures the land. And we recycle old jeans to

make new and unique products.

Natural LinenWe love the relaxed and pure look and feel of linen. But there are more reasons why we use linen!

First of all because it’s super eco-friendly. Linen fabric is made from flax, a kind of grass that grows on the Atlantic coast. It is the only plant textile fibre that originated from Europe. It can’t be relocated and needs the sea climate and rich soil to grow. Flax doesn’t need any irrigation or pesticides and is a true carbon well. Everything from the flax plant is used; the seeds in bread and for linseed oil, the fibers for linen, ropes, paper and insulation materials.

Linen fabric is three times stronger than cotton and regulates heat. That’s why linen feels pleasantly cool in summer and retains warmth in cold weather. It is also a hypo-allergenic andanti-bacterial fibre.

Recycled denimWhile searching for eco-friendly, European materials we came across the unique concept of yarn made of recycled worn jeans.

After the old jeans are collected in Italy, the zips and buttons are removed and the denim is washed. The pieces are selected by color, reduced to fibers and spun to beautiful yarn that we use for our home textiles. An ecological product, a good alternative for cotton and a great way to dress your home.

We make choices

We make choices

Pure woolWoolen throws and blankets have always been our favourites. Soft, warm en completely natural. To ensure animal friendly practices and minimise our carbon footprint we only use European wool. We even have a travel blanket made of the fleece of Dutch heathland sheep!

It is not easy to find wool within Europe that is suitable for home textiles, as a lot of the farmers and wool mills have disappeared. We are very happy though to have found an old Danish wool mill that still uses the fleece of Scandinavian sheep. We used theun-dyed, natural colors to create our Mill blankets.
