With the research I search for:•Animals Mechas•Wings Mechas•Rabbits (e.g. Alice Madness returns the game & Pandora Hearts anime.)•Grim Reaper

I though of getting an anime character I know, that is not already a mecha and try to create my own mecha version of it and with the time we got on this project. I though it be easier to do an animal mecha then a human mecha.

I research different arms designs to give my same ideas how to design the arms of my mecha and switch way to place the arms.

I looked at different types of legs, to two legs and four legs robots.

I sketches some robot bats wings to see witched one will look good for my mecha and see how to make the parts.

I sketch around an anime rabbit and created a mecha out of it.

I sketch a robot rabbit face to get a idea for how to create the parts for the hand in 3Ds max.

If I did is it again I would redo the wings and legs in more detail have the sketches showed and I would make the scythe have an more of angle on it.

With the head of my mecha I started with a sphere and with Segments I brought it right down to 10 so it as less polys.

I make the ears using the box tool and bevel the top corners and the inner ear, then when I finish one ear, I clone it and mirror it to the other side and group the ears and head together.

3.With the wing and shoulder was a box that I pulled the vertex polys to created a iron sharp and bevel out to created the arm of the wing. Then I used the cylinder tool to do the wing out line.

The arms I used cylinders and pyramid tools and the same style I did the shoulder and wing, I make the top of the arm in to a gear and pulled the vertex polys to create the spicks on the forearms.

I change the neck design from when I created the head because the neck looked a bit squash and when I fix the shoulder part on and it don’t look right .

With the arms I was planning to start with the shoulders using cylinders and work my way down the hands, but seeing at the screen shot it was every hard to make the hands from this angle.

When I make the scythe I used the cylinder and triangle tools for it. With the angle of the blade of the scythe , using the ploys I created an arc shape for the blade to make it looked more like scythe

With this screen shot I change the cylinder arms for rectangular arms because it was easier to do the hands first and work yourself up.

With the legs and feets I created them with the sphere tool and mess with the angle of them.

For my finally render I change the style of the scythe to look a bit like the scythe the rabbit got from one of my drawing of concept art I did, by putting the blade on top of the pole.
