Leonardo Da Vincis real birth name was "Lionardo di ser Piero da Vinci", meaning "Leonardo, (son) of (Mes) ser Piero from Vinci". He was son of the wealthy Messer Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci.

Mona LisaChildhood He spent his first five years in the hamlet of Anchiano with his mother, then from 1457 lived in the household of his father, grandparents and uncle, Francesco, in the small town of Vinci. Leonardo had a informal education in Latin he learnt mathematics, geomentry.

If it wasnt for Leonardo Da Vinci I think that we would not have half the stuff we have today because he proved to people that you can do anything you want because he done so many different things with his life.
