Hebrews 11:20Hebrews 11:20

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

2Cor 5:10

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw

1Cor 3:12-15

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is.

1Cor 3:12-15

If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Was Isaac shaking with rage at Jacob’s treachery? No indeed. Was he fearful that he might suffer injury at the handsof the hot-headed Esau? No, his next words explode such a theory. Rather was it he now realized that he had been out of harmony with the Divine will, and that God had providentially intervened to effect His own counsels. He was awed to the very depths of his soul.

There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
