This day is called the Ma’alot Massacre because these terrorist actually went around and killed people. On the night of May 12-13, these Palestinian terrorists jumped the border to Lebanon. On May 15, the squad (police) attacked a pickup truck and found one dead woman and three wounded women. Then at 3:30 in the morning, the terrorists broke into the Cohen residence in Ma'alot and killed the entire family. When demands were not met, they killed a U.S navy diver and dumped his body on the airport tarmac. His name was Robert Stethem. The 2 hijackers tortured and beat Stethem for hours and hours but he took it because he thought if someone was to die on the plane, it would be him.

Terrorism Reflection3 Things How Terry Anderson survived for 29,545 days in captivity. I don’t’ think I would be

able to. Plus the people who took him weren’t even that serious about it. Or at least it seemed like it.

Of course 9/11 is a memorable event. I won’t forget it especially what I learned so far this year about it.]

How they tortured Stethem for hours before killing him. He took it and accepted the fact that if someone had to die, it would have to be him.

2things I would like to learn more about Terry Anderson, and his days held

captive. Even when he got rescued, he still didn’t hold a grudge and forgave.

I would also like to learn about Robert Stethem because e was strong and stayed strong through out the whole situation.

1thing Try getting along and try to communicate with them. Maybe try to understand

from their point of view and see if we could fix thing or patch things up.
