HOW TO GET HERE BY CAR Situated on the North West Coast of England, the Fylde is easily accessed by the M6 and M55 motorway network. Whilst the M6 takes you up the eastern side of Fylde, The M55 cuts through rural Fylde to Lytham St.Annes and Blackpool. Whilst the A59 and the A6 converge on the south side of the Fylde, they join the main A583 which takes you through the southern part of the area. The first right turn off the M55, takes you to the northern part of the area. The Fylde has an excellent network of roads covering all the villages in the area. BY RAIL The Lytham St Annes area is easily accessible by train from Preston. (Trains from London 2 1 4 hours). Trains leave Preston station every hour to Blackpool South and take an average 30 minutes to arrive at St Annes. When purchasing your ticket, ask for a ‘Plus Bus’ ticket, which will allow travel on all Blackpool Transport Services.
