What is BVSWMA, Inc.?• Operations

– Own and operate the Twin Oaks Landfill and Twin Oaks Compost Facility– Own and maintain the closed Rock Prairie Road Landfill– Self funded through user-fees– Works with staff from the City of Bryan and City of College Station to provide

Household Hazardous Waste Collection events for the Brazos Valley region

• Governance– Non-profit local government corporation– Founded in 2010 by the City of Bryan and the City of College Station– Seven member Board of Directors– City Staff provides additional guidance via Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)– Annual third party financial audits

– Freon Recovery (Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners): $10.80– Tires

• > 19.5”: $3.25• 19.6-24.5”: $8.65• >24.5”: $21.60

– Pull-off: $25.00– Unsecured Load: $15.00 per ton, $15.00 minimum fee

If you are a Bryan or College Station resident, please bring your current utility bill and photo ID. You may

qualify for free disposal for waste from your household
