Dr.I.N. Patel: Being the Principal of BVM Engineering college it gives me immense pleasure to

welcome all the students of Under-graduate courses of Research streams to the academic

year 2017-18. Hostel is one of the most important setup for moulding the students life. We

    1

  • at BVM, mould our students to be self-confident and pragmatic such that

when they enter life after their academics, they face various challenges

with courage, conviction and success.Hostel stay is helping all the student

for overall holistic development of the young technocrats.

We at BVM, assure that our students will always strive to uphold the dignity

of our college and keep its flag ever flying high. India is known for its rich

values, culture and heritage. I impress upon all our young learning community to emerge as

    her proud and worthy citizens.

I wish our students all success in their endeavours.

    Jai Hind!

    Rectors Message

Dr. A.K.Verma: Students spend 75 percent of their time in hostel and it is

    their home away from home. They learn and experience many things;

which subsequently help in building their carrier. They all live together and

learn the art of sharing. Hostel, in fact, is a place where students mould their

thought process. Therefore, hostel life helps in the holistic development of a

student. Various committees such as literary, cultural and sports have been

formed at the hostel level and they are indeed doing very well.

I, Dr. A.K.Verma, on behalf of my hostel team wish all the hostelites in general and The

Hostelite team in particular a grand academic year.

STOPPING BY WOODS ON A SNOWY EVENING

    - ROBERT FROST

WHOSE WOODS THESE ARE I THINK I KNOW.

    HIS HOUSE IS IN THE VILLAGE THOUGH;

HE WILL NOT SEE ME STOP HERE

TO WATVH HIS WOODS FILL UP WITH SNOW.

MY LITTLE HORSE MUST THINK IT QUEER

TO STOP WITHOUT A FARMHOUSE NEAR

BETWEEN THE WOODS AND FROZEN LAKE

THE DARKEST EVENING OF THE YEAR.

HE GIVES HIS HARNESS BELLS A SHAKE

TO ASK IF THERE IS SOME MISTAKE.

THE ONLY OTHER SOUNDS THE SWEEP

OF EASY WIND AND DOWNY FFLAKE.

THE WOODS ARE LOVELY, DARK AND DEEP

BUT I HAVE PROMISES TO KEEP,

AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP,
