Buyer (Purchasing / Procurement / Purchasing Agent / Purchasing Procurement)

Job Responsibilities:

As a Buyer, you will be procuring direct and indirect material, as well as monitoring supply base on deliveries, negotiating cost savings, managing supplier lead times and capacity to support customer needs. You will be ensuring compliance with the company’s established quality standards and business requirements, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Purchasing direct and indirect material following established policies and procedures Issuing requests for quotations Investigating and identifying qualified suppliers Managing supplier performance; expediting as necessary; selecting products for purchase; coordinating activities

with manufacturing and engineering to maintain inventory at planned levels Maintaining all procurement records Complying with and documenting government regulations, FAR, and Auditable Quotations Participating in lean events that impact both your department and the organization as a whole

Job Requirements:

As a successful Buyer, your leadership ability will be a critical point to be considered for direct hire or contract work with our valued clients. You must demonstrate a solid tenure in your previous employment to assure your next employer that you will be a solid and stable asset to be invested in for long-term possibilities.

Education and 2-4 years minimum experience in a purchasing role Team player Personable “Go Getter", motivated personality – ready to take your career to the next level
