Guests of the Boathouse Spa must be a minimum of 16 years.

The Spa is a non-smoking facility.

Although a locker will be provided for spa guests, we recommend that you do not bring jewelry and valuables to the Spa.

Mineral bath use is not recommended after a waxing, manicure or pedicure treatment.

Please respect the privacy & relaxation of other Spa guests by speaking softly and switching off mobile phones.

For your safety, only plastic glassware is permitted on the spa deck.

Some of the treatments offered are not suitable for guests with certain medical conditions, such as: epilepsy, allergies, heart condition, high/low blood pressure, scar tissue, varicose veins, skin conditions, diabetes, cancer, thyroid, pregnancy, recent operations.

MassagesWe offer 30, 60, or 90-minute customized sessions which based on the session goals may include one or several modalities such as; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Positional Release, Myofascial Release, Sports or Remedial techniques. We also offer 30, 60-minute standalone therapies, Chair Massage and 20 or 30 minute “spot” treatments.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

Therapy that melt away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapists can work more deeply, more quickly.

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, for pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

SPORT MASSAGE

FOUR HANDS MASSAGE

Two therapists work on one client, using synchronized moves. This massage can be like experiencing two full body massages at the same time. Good massage therapists will use the client’s body as a form of canvas onto which they choreograph slow, detailed moves of varying paces and pressures.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense.

ACUPUNCTURE AND ACUPRESSURE THERAPY

Both of these therapeutic treatments aim to stimulate specific points on the body known as acupoints. Acupressure is the application of pressure to the body to enhance the flow of energy in the 12 main bi-lateral meridians, according to the principles of Oriental medicine. Acupuncture uses needles to puncture through the layers of the skin, believed to have a more profound effect than acupressure.

Physical therapy is often one of the best choices you can make when you have long-term pain (also called chronic pain) or an injury. It can make you stronger and help you move and feel better. Your doctor might suggest this type of treatment.

SaunaThe best amount of dirtiness comes out of your skin. Sauna increases and fixes blood circulation and breathing. The heat and moisture of sauna relax your muscles and takes away the pain. Taking a sauna begins with having a wash (usually a shower), followed by a sit in the sauna room, the room being typically warmed to 80°C . Its recommended to stay only 15 minutes.

BIO SAUNASauna with temperature 45°C, but it has an interesting advantage. We put inside the sauna room a curative plant named eucalyptus which will fix your breathing system.

STEAM BATHThe difference between Sauna and steam bath is in the type of heat that they provide. A sauna uses dry heat, usually from hot rocks or a closed stove. Steam rooms are heated by a generator filled with boiling water.

ICE ROOMThe cold sauna is a therapy where the goal is to cool the entire body (creating a systemic boost), to make it actually warm up faster afterwards. The intensity of the cold reduces treatment time; it’s only 3 minutes long.

LADIES SAUNAIt is a special sauna room only for ladies. As you enter you can see a corundum made of salt blocks. This salt comes from Himalaya. When the sauna is open the iodine of salt release. This is, for sure, the best cure for your lungs.

RELAX ROOMIs a room whose floor is filled with warm sand mixed with salt. Inside this room are some tiled beds, which are warm enough for your skin, so the heat can go through your skin to your muscles and bones.

HamamKnown as the Turkish Bath, Hammam is one of the most wonderful treatments. The Turkish bath is a type of public bathing associated with the culture of the Ottoman Empire and more widely the Islamic world. It is a variation of cleansing and relaxation. It’s recommended to stay 15-20 minutes

JacuzziWarm water, or “hydro” therapy can promote relaxation, pain relief and improved sleep habits as the heat, buoyancy and massage work together to clear your mind, reduce stress and soothe overworked muscles. Its recommended to stay 15-30 minutes.

Emotional ShowerIs a special shower, with 3 different smells (aromas) and 3 different temperatures (Warm/Hot/Cold), each shower last 30 second. The rocks in the ground are to help you relax your feet at the time you pass from one shower to another.

SnowbathThe body produces more white blood cells that activate and strengthen immune system (i.e. fewer colds and flus) and reduce inflammation and swelling blood flows to the organs to keep them warm, which improves overall circulation and oxygen flow.

Artistic work inside the bottom of the pool is called Mosaic of the Sun. It is named fromthe restaurant outside “Veranda of the Sun”, where the first rays of the sun touch this space of the structure.

Positioned on the second floor, it is easily accessible from the main reception desk for outdoor visitors.

Overlooking the Ionian sea makes you feel like you are in the sea during the winter period.

“Fairy Tarrace infinity pool” The Fairy Tarrace that lives in two times in the past of Albanian folklore where the craft of the mountain populated the most beautiful corners of the mountains and in the strong present of the sunset is without a doubt a small paradise in the city of Saranda. Sunset dive every evening into the pool water by making every corner of mosaics drifted into the water. The Fairy Tarrace makes every sunset last as long as one life. Artistic work is the fairy.

Mandarin poolMandarin pool organized in 2 parts with dimensions 20 x 8.6 m and children’s pool with 6.5 m diameter.

Buterfly PoolDesigned as a complex with the main reception with 2 parts separated by a bridge, it gives the image of the butterfly. There are 4 circular transparent surfaces, which are distinguished on the ceiling of the restaurant “Margarita”.
