After an incredible Asia-debut in 2014, Natural & Organic Products Asia (NOPA) is pleased to announce that it will return in 2015 for another exciting edition. Scheduled to take place from 26-28 August 2015 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the show is set to once again gather the entire natural and organic industry under one roof. At its inaugural Asia-edition in 2014, the three-day trade show generated quality sales and extended industry networks for a whole host of exhibitors, attracting over 5,100 visitors from 39 countries. This promising result has proven that NOPA is a must-attend trade show for any natural and organic businesses looking for new opportunities in the exciting Asia market.

Hong Kong is a natural business hub and one of Asia’s leading markets. As the location for NOPA, the city acts as a strategic inroad to multi-billion dollar business opportunities in Greater China and ASEAN.
As China’s economy grows, so too does its middle class and more high-income groups in big cities are driving the demand for organic food in the context of lifestyles that focus on health and sustainability.
As demand increases, more high-end supermarkets are looking to carry organic products and leading hotels and restaurants are increasing demand for organic goods. At the same time the number of dedicated brick and mortar and online organic stores is growing.
Analysts predict that demand for organic products in China will increase by 30- 50% over the next decade, positioning the nation as the fourth largest organic market in the world by 2020.
By 2015, China’s domestic organic sales are expected to be as high as USD8.7 billion.
Organic product sales in China reached HKD101 billion in 2012 and are expected to grow by more than 20% a year until 2020.
In 2013, China ranked global fourth in terms of consumption of organic products*.
At the end of 2013, China’s organic products market totaled $81.68 billion, with annual sales of RMB20-30 billion*.
The APAC region is expected to be the fastest-growing region for organic products at an estimated annual growth rate of 9.7% from 2012 to 2018.
The margins on organic production in China can be up to 90% higher than their non-organic equivalents.
