The Praxis Twelve Month Experience

BootcampParticipants undergo robust professional and entrepreneurial training with Praxis Staff.

Placement with business partner

It’s all about creating value that can be demonstrated to the world, not just jumping through hoops or getting grades.

Months:

Personal Development Projects

Participants work with Praxis advisors to develop PDP in conjunction with professional goals.

30 hours / week at $10/hr

Participants create tangible results through twelve Personal Development Projects (PDPs) – a short-term set of challenges with the goal of gaining mastery in areas of value.

Participants complete four types of PDPs throughout the program:

Create value for business partners from day one: • Learn website development

and digital marketing • Become entrepreneurial

thinkers and doers

Bootcamp

Develop hard and soft skills to excel in business partner roles: • Complete two independent

business projects • Gain transferable skills and

experiences

Professional Development

Learn to apply theoretical knowledge in the marketplace: • Develop advanced critical

thinking skills • Participate in engaging group

discussions with thought leaders

Curriculum

Complete at least one major project that demonstrates unique skill and value: • Complete a large project

from start to finish • Learn how to grow a

customer base

As a Praxis business partner, I agree to the following:

• Accept the participant(s) Praxis selects for my business if suitable match • Participants to be placed at my business for 40 weeks • Participants to work ~30 hours per week (no overtime or benefits unless agreed upon) • Participant to be paid at least $10 per hour as an employee of my business • To notify Praxis if terminating the participant’s employment early for failure to abide by company

policies or perform to expectations • Participant to spend no more than 50% of working time on administrative tasks • Participant to be responsible for at least one self-directed project • Participant to shadow the founder or CEO at least once during the program
