Ola RostadRnD ResponsibleOla has extensive experience with the establishment and operation of development projects, guidance of start-ups, applications for public co-financing and as general manager and board member. Ola is a forestry candidate from Ås and holds a Master of Innovation Management from Karlstad University. In the Solar Energy Team, Ola works with partner support and guidance, supporting innovation groups and development of the cluster’s innovation system.

The Solar Energy Cluster is a national cluster for the solar energy sector in Norway. Its activities are focused both on the Norwegian as well as the international energy markets. The objective is to strengthen the Norwegian partners’ innovation capacity and competitiveness, and to take a bigger share of the global energy market. The cluster consists of businesses, R&D, public and private partners.

This catalogue presents the business partners in the Solar Energy Cluster divided into 10 different categories. The aim is to provide an overview of the competence in the cluster.

Ragnhild Bjelland-HanleyRnD ResponsibleRagnhild holds a Bachelor degree in communication from Simon Fraser University in Canada and a Master’s degree in technology, innovation and knowledge from the University of Oslo. She worked as a communications advisor for several years before she started working in solar energy in 2016. In the Solar Energy Cluster, Ragnhild works as an R&D advisor. This entails discussing potential project ideas with companies, as well as providing guidance in finding relevant research environments and sources of funding.

Lill-Torunn KildeHead of Strategic Communications Lill-Torunn has been working with strategic communications and media relations within the fields of renewable energy and green tech since 2008. She also has a broad background as a journalist and editor both for television and radio. Lill-Torunn holds a Cand.mag. degree in Journalism and Political Science from University of Oslo, and PR and Strategic Communications from BI Norwegian Business School.

Development and operation of international solar energy projects

Aega ASAAega ASA is a solar utility company that acquires and operates solar power plants. The company currently owns a portfolio of eight individual solar parks in the Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and Lombardia regions in Italy with a combined production capacity of 8MWp, and an initial annual electricity production of approximately 11GWh depending on the annual solar irradiation.

Ocean Sun ASThe market for floating solar on freshwater reservoirs represents a TW-scale opportunity.
