    Bio-coals technologyThe following are two example types of technologies that can be used toproduce biocoal.Torrefaction: Torrefaction is a mild form of pyrolysis which convertsbiomass to a brittle, coal-like substance. The torrefaction process producesa fuel that has lower operating costs because torrefied biomass behavesand handles more like coal. It also has a higher energy-per-unit capacity(for example, wood pellets have a BTU value of about 4,500 where torrifiedwood pellets can have a BTU value of about 10,000 to 12,000 BTU1(making transportation more economical as well. There are a handful ofcommercial torrefaction plants in Europe that covert wood pellets tobiocoal.

    Pyrolysis: Pyrolysis is a chemical process that has many purposes. Specificto biomass, it is a process that also converts biomass to a coal-likesubstance, but does it at a much higher temperature than torrefaction.Pyrolysis occurs under pressure and in the absence of oxygen. It is currentlyvery expensive and there are no commercial plants in existence.

    Looking for joint ventureWe are currently trying to develop the project of Implementing the bio-coaltechnology in South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia) for the purpose ofconverting the Palm Oil waste into the bio-coal.Our target is to find JV partners who willing to jointly with us setup the bio-coalplants next to the palm oil mills as well as in some areas setting up conversion

    centers for the further distribution of the end product. The project goes togetherwith the complete buy back guarantee for the end product by the end user.

    Saat ini, kami coba untuk mengembangkan proyek untuk implementasikanteknologi bio-coal di Asia Tenggara (Malaysia, Indonesia) untuk konversikanlimbah pabrik kelapa sawit menjadi bio-coal.

    Tujuan kami adalah mencari kerjasama dengan pabrik kelapa sawit untukmendirikan pabrik bio-coal berdekatan dengan PKS dengan garansi hasil produkdapat kami jual kepada konsumen.
