What is Business intelligence???
Many different ways of phrasing the concept bydifferent authors.
General concept captured:
"BI represents an integrated set of technologies andprocesses that use data to analyze and understandorganizational performance.

Who all will benefit???
BI serve this audience by providing access to a richer set oftransaction data and by providing technological efficiencies thatallow them to spend less time pulling information and more timeanalyzing information.
Power Users/ Developers
BI will serve this audience by providing them a set of dashboard reportsthat they can individually access through an easy-to-use web self-servicereporting portal.
Operational Decision Makers
BI will also serve this audience by beginning to produce a scorecarddashboard that quickly displays some of the indicators defined in the UAstrategic plan.

What all is missing???
Despite of all benefits, their software still lacks theability to categorise problems generated.
Filtering of Dirty Data is still a major area of
concern. Manual overriding at situations where computer
systems may impede rather than enhance BI efforts.
