BUSINESS CASE:

Business users rely on paper/printed reports to do analysis, planning and quality assurance.

Business Objects version can deliver real time information and give Business Users the ability to manage this information that is most relevant to their needs

PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT:

Many paper reports are being printed each day with hardly anybody reading them

The programs that produce reports are hard-coded; once report is generated, the user can not ask for more fields or manipulate the report to fit their needs

Most printed reports have a lag of one day or more
