His Excellency Sergio Díaz-Granados Guida, is the current Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia. Before he was called to head the ministry, he served as Deputy Minister of Industrial Development. He has served as Member of the Chamber of Representatives of Colombia from 2002 to 2006, Deputy in the Magdalena Departmental Assembly from 1998 to 2000, and Councilman in the Santa Marta City Council from 1995 to 1997.

His Excellency Riewad Warjri serves as the current Ambassador of India to Colombia and accredited to Ecuador and Costa Rica. A seasoned diplomat of the Indian Foreign Service, Mr. Warjri has served as the Ambassador, High Commissioner, Deputy Consul General, First Secretary and Director on Deputation to the UN for Govt. of India during his 30 year career.

Garth Hall is currently an Economic Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Bogota and primarily reports on civil aviation and infrastructure. He previously served at the U.S. embassies in Kuwait City and Cairo.

His Excellency Rafael Poveda, Minister Coordinator of Strategic Sectors of Ecuador

His Excellency Francisco Rivadeneira, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade & Economic Integration, Ecuador His ministry is responsible to plan, direct, manage and coordinate the policies of foreign trade, economic integration and investment that contribute to the development of an economic, social and national solidarity in, and a fair trade based on international complement under existing constitutional and national development plans.

His Excellency Santiago Leon, previously director of the National Customs of

Ecuador (SENAE), is the Minister for Coordination and Production at the Ministry of

Production, Employment and Competitiveness. After graduating from the Escuela Superior

Politécnica del Litoral in 2001. he continued his studies at the University of New Orleans,

where he obtained a Master’s in Public Administration and Finance. His professional

experience started in 2000 as a Specialist at the Ecuadorean Customs Corporation (CAE),

and in 2005 he became a consultant to the UN Development Program. In 2007, he was

appointed General Manager of the CAE, and later became its President.

His Excellency Oscar Rueda García, Vice Minister of Tourism, Colombia, studied at the Faculty of Law and Socio-Economic Sciences of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He served as a legal secretary of Insurance and Financial Advisor as well as the Private Secretary to the Ministry of Communications, during President Alfonso Lopez Michelsen. He was the President of the World Association of the Universal Federation of Travel Agents' Associations, and of the Colombian Association of Travel Agencies.

His Excellency Jose Luis Silva Martinot is Peru’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism. He

has been the Director of Innovation Waste Peru SAC (2010 to present), Director of the

Agency for the Promotion of Private Investment in the Amazon (2010 to present),

Advisory Board Member of the National Competitiveness Council-Presidency of the

Council of Ministers (2006-2010), Director of the National Confederation of Private

Business (CONFIEP), Director of the Centre for Information and Education for the

Prevention of Drug Abuse (CEDAR), Vice President of the Center for Magnetic

Resonance (CEREMA) and Advisory Board Member of Healthy City (2006 to date).

His Excellency René Cornejo Diaz - Minister of Housing, Construction and

Sanitation, Peru is an electrical mechanical engineer (UNI), MBA (ESAN), graduated

from the Masters in Applied Mathematics (PUCP). Doctoral candidate in

Management at ESADE (Spain) and has postgraduate diploma in Business Law and

Production Management. Before taking office as Minister he served as Project

Manager on various processes of promoting private investment.

Licenciada Miroslava E. Vilar, President of Proinvex, Panama. The mission of PROINVEX is to manage an integrated information system that allows the investors to easily identify the instruments that the National Government has for attracting the direct foreign investment, as well as all the necessary information for this purpose, with emphasis on sectors identified as engines of the Economic Growth in the Strategic Plan of the Government. Before becoming the Director General of

Multinational Corporations to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Miroslava served as the Executive Secretary of the Board Substantive for Electoral Tribunal of panama, Director of Special Projects and International cooperations for Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His Excellency Ricardo Quijano Jiménez , Minister, Commerce and Industries, Panama. Born in October 1946 in Panama City, he earned a degree in Air Conditioning,

Refrigeration and Heating Systems at Lindsey Hopkins Institute - Miami, Florida - USA,

in 1969. From 1977 to 2003 he served as President and CEO of Food Packing, SA, a

company dedicated to seafood processing and export. From 2009 to the present he has

been serving the Panama government, first as Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry

and currently as the Minister of Commerce and Industry.

His Excelllency José Pacheco Tejeira , Vice Minister, Foreign Trade, Panama Viceministro de Comercio Exterior , Panama. Mr. Jose Pacheco Tejeira, was born in

1970. He studied at the College of Agriculture at Iowa State University in the United

States in Agricultural Engineering. He specialized in the College of Agriculture at

Cornell University in the United States, with a Masters in International Agriculture. Has

assumed various leadership positions in the public sector as Head of International

Technical Cooperation in Agricultural Research Institute in Panama and the Regional

Director of the Ministry of Agriculture. Currently, he serves as Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade in the

Ministry of Trade and Industry.
