ing debris, garbage and cardboard from the road.
0455 – A residential fire alarm was reported. A female at the resi-dence was contacted who stated it was a false alarm.
1126 – A female caller stated the owner of some cats and dogs at a residence have moved and left all the animals in the house. She stated the dogs aren’t let outside and it’s unknown if the animals are fed or have water. At 1145, an officer advised he could see a dog in a small kennel and a cat at the residence who appear to be fine. He will try to call the owners of the animals.
1453 – A reporting party called in a grass fire that was started by a combine.
1503 – A male said he was told by a female that there is a missing persons report filed on him. The caller was patched up with a deputy.
1623 – A male reported that for five to six days he has been getting calls from a debt collec-tion agency concerning a female. The male doesn’t even know who the female is and has informed the callers of this. He also told them to cease their phone calls
but they are still calling. The caller was patched up to a deputy who headed to his location to provide a scam packet.
1703 – A female reported that another female is harassing her 83-year-old father on Facebook. The caller was patched up with a deputy.
1857 – A male reported he locked himself out of his vehicle. He was provided numbers for locksmiths.
1903 – A violations card was started at an officer’s request.
1918 – A female reported there’s a kid sitting in the east ditch along US 2 at the cross-ing to the east of the Whatley Crossing. She believes he may be a teenager. A description of the child as well as the vehicle parked nearby was given. At 1930, a deputy advised he drove down to MM 551 but didn’t see the vehicle.
1934 – An operator stated he had a caller on the line that was testing his phone lines. The operator asked the caller to stay on the line but he hung up. The operator provided the address the call came from as well as the business name. The operator wanted to verify if the location was in Valley County.
2113 – A male reported a vehicle that’s pulling a trailer and dragging a chain. He was concerned it may start a fire.
Tuesday, Sept. 10057 – A male is reporting
a postal service delivery van is parked on the east side of Heather Lane. The caller thought it was odd as usually they are parked inside the building and it’s al-most blocking the driveway at its location. It was determined the vehicle possibly broke down as there are no keys or mail in the vehicle.
0856 – A female reported her neighbor’s camper is on fire. St. Marie Fire was paged.
1100 – A male received a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Admin-istration saying his number had been fraudulently used. They then proceeded to ask for his social security number which he stated they should know the num-ber since they called him. Dis-patch tried providing the actual Social Security Administration in Helena contact information but the caller didn’t want it.
1143 – A caller wanted to know if anyone reported a fire approximately 13 miles north of Oswego. The caller also wanted to know if Roosevelt County had called Valley County. The caller wasn’t sure if there was a fire but wanted to be put through to Roosevelt County. Valley County dispatch stayed on the line in case there was information they needed. The caller told RCSO he wasn’t sure if there was a fire as it may be dust or ash from the fire the other day. With the lack of information on the exact where-
abouts and facts, RCSO stated they had an officer headed back from Frazer that she would have check on the situation.
1205 – A sick deer below the town of Fort Peck near the water treatment plant will be put down. The caller wanted to call it in in case there are any calls about gunshots.
1326 – A female received a call from a local number, which she missed and when she tried to call it back a recording stated the number couldn’t be reached right now. The female called Nemont who stated the number doesn’t exist and it’s not a working number. She was educated about computers making up numbers to get people to feel more com-fortable answering the calls and giving information. The caller stated she only answers numbers she knows but this one was local so she thought it was important. She was advised anyone is able to use any number they want and was directed not to give out any information.
1508 – A reporting party wanted it placed on record a call from a male, who claimed to be affiliated with Publisher’s Clearing House, stated she had won $2.5 million dollars. She was instructed to go to the near-est Walmart and purchased a Visa card for $285. It was stated that someone would meet her

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Glasgow, Montana, has completed its preliminary annual budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021.

2042 – The caller reported a Burlington Northern Train radio that’s blaring. She said this was going on last night and kept her awake. Burlington Northern was notified.
2129 – An alarm was going off. The bartender was contacted and everything was okay.
Wednesday, Sept. 20602 – At 0354, an alarm
sounded from the computer speakers. The dispatcher didn’t know what it was so contacted the dispatch supervisor who directed the dispatcher to the alarms tab on the radio display console. The alarms were silenced and it was advised to contact a female when she came on shift. At 0610, the female wasn’t seen coming in so she was called and was notified about the alarm.
0918 – A female reported receiving a call which was a recording saying her social secu-rity number has been suspended due to being associated with fraudulent activity. She stated her boyfriend answered the call and when she tried to call the number back it stated it wasn’t working number. The caller was notified this is a scam and they are able to generate local numbers to get more people to answer their phone calls.
1145 – A male reported a silver suburban driving errati-
cally in Glasgow and then out on Tampico Road as well. A de-scription of the driving behavior, the driver as well as the vehicle was provided. The caller stated he would be willing to write out a statement if necessary but was mostly concerned about the erratic driving. An officer was notified. At 1200, the officer spoke with the driver and made him aware of the complaint.
1228 – A female called in stat-ing she got a call from someone claiming to be the social security office and her number had been used fraudulently and they were going to have to give her a new number. The person on the other end wanted her date of birth and her social security information. The female provided her that information and then later real-ized what she had done as the call was not legitimate. She stated she already contacted her bank and contacted the social security office.
1340 – A hit confirmation request from Ravalli County on the warrant for a female out of Valley County District Court was received. The subject is out with an officer at this time and requested a 10-minute response. A deputy confirmed extradition would occur.
1344 – PCSO dispatch called in requesting assistance with a brush fire in Hinsdale. Long Run Fire and Hinsdale fire were paged.
1413 – A female called in stating a grain truck just went by their house going toward Glasgow and one of the wheels is billowing black smoke. She states she is afraid it may start a fire. She also stated it’s loaded so she believes it may be going to the elevators in town. An officer was notified who located the truck
and followed it. He observed no active smoke coming out of it at this time but will follow to the elevator.
1434 – A male received a call from someone claiming to be Publisher’s Clearinghouse wanting to give him a check for $38,0000 but he would have to pay some money in fees to get the money. The male called him a****** for trying to scam money out of people and since then the person keeps calling be-ing rude and barbaric. The caller states the guy keeps asking him where he lives because he is go-ing to come here and take care of the male. The male would like an officer to call the numbers the guy has been calling from and tell them to quit calling. A deputy was notified of the male’s request.
1633 – A female called in advising they are evacuating Jor-dan because of fires. They have exhausted all other options at this time. She wanted to let the Fire Chief know to be on standby. The information was passed along.
1707 – Fire Chief for RCSO Fire called in requesting assis-tance with a fire. Hinsdale Fire, Lustre Fire and Long Run were all paged.
2028 – A female called in stat-ing she found a baby rattlesnake by her laundry room. She has it contained with a can. The caller has kids and the snake was being very aggressive so she would like someone to come out and take care of it. She was advised to leave the snake alone and not go near it. At 2107, a deputy advised the snake has been dealt with.
Thursday, Sept. 30758 – RC911 received a
report of a bright yellow Jeep that is all over the road. The of-ficer spotted it but hasn’t seen it since and believes it is in Valley
County. A deputy was notified.1030 – A male called to speak
with someone about possibly do-ing traffic control where they are working. He stated vehicles are ignoring signs that workers are present so he is asking if someone has time to just be in the area. A deputy was notified who will try to make his way there pending other calls. At 1125, the deputy reported to have driven to the Phillips County line and it looks like they are done with their construction.
1052 – A female called in stat-ing the light is out on 6th Street. She stated it turned green and then just went out. An officer was contacted as well as MTDOT.
1104 – A female called in to report a dog bite. The victim was checking meters out in Fort Peck and the neighbor’s dog came running over, biting him on the left lower leg right above his boot. A deputy responded and Valley County Health Dept. was notified.
1150 – A male called in stating he is in the Albertson’s P-Lot. While he was in the store, a fe-male driving a bed truck backed into his car. There is a witness that saw it happen. The female left the scene and went up 7th Street. A deputy was notified and at 1222 reported he has the other vehicle stopped.
1611 – A female called in stating she just moved in and her landlord advised her to call. She stated she went to go outside and there were three dogs there who wouldn’t let her outside. She later heard some yelling and the same dogs were going after a man who was out walking his dogs. A deputy was notified who advised to let another deputy know about the call when he comes on shift at 1700. Upon coming on shift,
the other deputy was unable to reach the complainant or the dog’s owner.
1709 – A female called in be-cause a dog got hit by a vehicle so her husband told her to call. While on the phone, her husband said never mind as the people came back and got the dog.
2238 – A female reported a dead deer laying in the middle of Hwy 24 North at the bridge between Glasgow and St. Marie. A message for DOT was left.
Friday, Sept. 40419 – RCSO dispatcher ad-
vised a subject, who has a warrant out of Valley County, was pulled over for driving a stolen vehicle and there will be charges stem-ming from that. The male was arrested for the warrant out of Valley County in addition to driv-ing while suspended. The subject will see the judge this morning and then will be extradited to Valley County.
0636 – A male received a mes-sage on his phone from someone with a thick accent telling him they were from the Social Secu-rity Administration and that he is in trouble because his number is being used in connection with a crime. They asked the male to call him back. The male did not call the number back and no information was exchanged. Dispatch educated the male the call is a scam and was also given the number to the actual Social Security Administration in Helena to make them aware he received the call.
1014 – A female called in stating there is a dead deer in the ditch in front of her house toward the south end of their property. Dispatch advised the female they would call MTDOT and leave them a message about the deer. The caller wanted to know if she could just take it herself to the dump. She was advised she could but to let dispatch know if she does so they can document in case someone calls in about someone dumping a deer in the dump.
1224 – A deputy requested a call for service for a theft.
1357 – A female reported she has a strong gas odor in her resi-dence. She noticed it last night but it is really strong today. She stated she took her dog and head-ed over to her mom’s residence. The caller lives in a trailer house and gets her gas from Ezzie’s in a large tank in her yard. Ezzie’s was contacted.
1520 – A male reported he saw a side-by-side on its back and a trailer is upside down. There’s nobody around and there’s stuff scattered around. A deputy and MHP was notified.
1526 – A female called in to report a scam she was involved with. She received in the mail an envelope with a priority label from UPS. She opened it up and there was a check in it made out to her for $2,550. She took the check to the bank to deposit and they let her know it was a scam. They advised to call law enforcement and have them make a report on it. She also stated she believes it may have come from a site called Job Seek as far as them getting her information. At 1747,
a deputy advised he dropped off a scam packet and photographed the original documents.
1605 – A male called in stating he is trying to get a property he owns cleaned up and needs an RV that is parked beside the address on the street to be moved. He states every time he talks to the subject about moving it, he is told to “F-off” basically. He would like the vehicle to be towed. He also states he has four vehicles parked in the yard there and some trees that need to come down so the RV needs to move. A parking sticker was placed on the RV.
1803 – A male reported they have a combine on fire. A fire truck is on scene but it hasn’t been ran in awhile. Nashua Fire called for the information and will try to get trucks headed that way. At 1810, the male called back and advised they put the fire out.
1815 – A deputy advised a warrant was served.
2010 – A male reported a dead deer laying in the middle of the driving lane at US 2 by MM 559. They’re afraid someone hit it. A message was left for DOT.
2114 – A female reported a male pounding on the neighbor’s door, yelling and screaming. He then left on foot headed north on 1st Street N. She couldn’t see the person and couldn’t give a description. At 2126, the officer located the male and warned him to stay away.
2206 – A male advised he hit a deer by Scott’s Track and Wheel. He’s not injured but believes the vehicle is totaled. A deputy and Helena Highway Patrol was notified.
2210 -A deputy advised he hit a raccoon. Later it was de-termined it was a porcupine not a raccoon.
2215 – BNSF reported a male sitting in a lawn chair fairly close to the tracks on the south side. There is also a grey pickup nearby. A deputy asked dispatch to call RCSO and make them aware. RCSO dispatch sent a tribal officer.
2341 – An officer reported he hit a deer but there is no dam-age to the vehicle. MDOT was notified.
Saturday, Sept. 50054 – A male reported fam-
ily and friends of a patient just brought in are outside the emer-gency room arguing and threat-ening each other. Officers were notified. Per an officer, the in-dividuals were not fighting they were just talking loud. They were told to keep it down.
1358 – A female advised she is behind a vehicle that has almost went in the ditch a couple of times and is swerving all over the road. She provided a plate number and location. She wants the driver checked out to make sure they are okay and to make sure they don’t cause an accident. MHP and RCSO dispatch were notified.
1425 – A call for service was started due to information from the father of a boy and his friend who supposedly sold a Xbox card to someone that is mentally chal-lenged and goes to Albertsons. The officer is going to Northern Heights to find the victim.
