KA1 Mobility project for young people

P.O.D. Association is planning to apply for the 30thof April 2014 Erasmus+ dead-line

with a youth project on the topic of social economy, through crafts from recycled

materials as a way of stimulating entrepreneurship among young people.

Project Summary:

The problems that the young are dealing with and the increasing concerns on the

environment can go hand in hand if the youngsters know how to use every

opportunity and transform it into a profitable one. The European Union is trying

through different programs to stimulate the entrepreneurship among the young as a

way of reducing the unemployment at this segment.

Business Creativity will try to raise awareness on the business niche of up-cycling.

The program of the youth exchange will be based on exchanging ideas of how tobetter use this type of materials creatively and how to create a profitable business

out of it.

Partner Profile:

Non-profit organizations from the Program Countries with a highunemployment rate among young people

Works with unemployed young people Have the capacity and the openness to disseminate the project in the local

community Able to make a group of 5 participants and a group leader that fit the profile

below, gendered balanced

Participants: Unemployed Age between 18 30 years Creative Open-minded

Open to new challenges Medium high level of English

Conditions:

Accommodation, meals and activity costs will be financed 100% through the

European Commissions Erasmus+ Program.

Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ rules as presented

below:

Distance between 10 99 km: 20 Euros/participant






More than 8000 km: 830 Euros/participant
