• TDU planning starting. Activating Aldinga meeting held by council at Cooee arthouse … Leonie attended. As a result, Historic Aldinga street party planned to celebrate the completion of the roadworks for Saturday June 9th. The mayor to launch the event coordinated by a working committee of local business owners and residents. It will include a Yellow Brick Rd trail, with children’s activities during the day leading into a licensed event with live entertainment and food provided by local traders.

• An activation event for mid-winter was spoken of but not

designated. It was agreed that ABBTA would loan Gazebos, and promote the event on the website.

6.2 Secretary’s report:

Motion passed online: “That a heartstart machine (defibrillator / AED) be donated to the Aldinga Football Club on the condition that ABBTA be able, in perpetuity, to advertise and promote business and tourism activities within the Aldinga Bay Football club facility, the exact details of which are to be negotiated in terms favorable to both parties. “ (Passed Feb 6, 2018)

Someone suggested half fee, but up to committee - thanks. Not sure if I'll make meeting but will try. Kamini Dean Rowe reported on “Judith’s Walk”, fund raiser. Total raised was $20,125.43. Less expenses he presented one cheque to the Cancer Council SA for $8,500 and a second cheque for $4,953.15 to Ovarian Cancer Australia. There will be a walk in 2018/19 , and Dean suggested other fund-raising ideas of
