1. If you don’t know where to turn to please see a dean of student 2. Connect with others, volunteer, give back to your community3. Ask questions - if in doubt, inquire !4. Get to know your RLE, RA, GAA 5. Make an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor- they are committed to helping you succeed 6. Visit Career Services – don’t wait until your senior year7. Get involved in your campus life: join RHA, a student organization, honor society, etc. 8. If you have the opportunity, travel – try an alternative spring break 9. Visit your professors during office hours10. Be vigilant – take care of your community

It is indeed an honor to serve as your Dean of Students for BuschCampus. You will find Busch Campus is a vibrant place with muchto offer you including outstanding staff, students and faculty aswell as a challenging curriculum, extensive opportunities and anengaging and caring residential life. It is my hope that all you feelsupported in your RU academic journey. I take my job seriously and am committed to maintaining a safe, healthy and supportive environment. As your dean of students, I am committed to working every day to ensure your student priorities are met knowing that student life and learning are inseparable. I will continue to create a welcoming, inclusive and enjoyablecommunity. Stop by the Busch Student Center Suite 106 and say hello! All of us here on the Busch campus are committed to making sure that all you are passionately engaged in RU and to leave here with the ability to flourish.

Deans ofStudents also assist students havingdifficulties due to reasons beyond her or his control; whether due to medical, emotional, psychological, familial or overwhelming financial reasons. Deans of Students work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to createvibrant and inclusive communities on each campus. Our goal is to nurture a sense of belonging and enhance the overall student experience among all members of the Rutgers community.
