PURPOSE OF PROJECT: A.  To create an awareness in society on; 1. «Global Warming & Climate Change», «Water & Hygene» and «Water and its Improtance» subjects. 2. Enable people to realize the potential risks of Climate Change, and convince and lead them to take personal precautions to slowen Climate Change. B. To promote Rotary recognition.

PROJECT PRIMARY TARGET GROUPS : 1. University students in Education department, 2. High School students, 3. NGO members, 4. Industrial companies and Municipality employees (Both white & blue collar).

PROJECT’s MAIN ACTIVITIES: 1. Conferences and information supply towards targeted groups ; (At Universities, High schools, NGO’s, Industrial Companies, Municipalities, on TV and radio channels etc.) • Relation of Energy, Water, Food and Goods consumption with CC, • Informations on water usage, wastewater & virtual water, • Reasons of GHG emissions and examples in the City of Bursa, • Possible and simple examples and advices for personal precautions, • Water and hygene and water related illnesses, • Effect of CC and wasting on the earth and illustrations, • Strategic and intercountry importance of water, • Water shortage and famine.

Tree planting - With cooperation of local forestration directorate. v. Classical Turkish Music Concerts with water theme - Open to public

vi. Courses on Climate Change - Being lecturer in University’s «NGOs and activities» courses vii. Speeches in Mosques - Organizing Friday Speeches given by religious man in all mosques in city. viii. Interviews in printed media. - Reportages on Climate Changes for Newspapers and magazines. ix. Interviews at Audio and visual media - Various programs for local TV channels and radios on CC Subject. x. Distributing documents and materials - After every activity. xi. Posting Climate Change Documents to Rotary Clubs in other districts. - Turkish documents to Turkey districts and English documents to other districts.
