Burnley bid for Forest winger

Burnley have made an undisclosed bid for Nottingham Forest winger Jamie Paterson, Sky Sportsunderstands.

Jamie Paterson: Nottingham Forest winger has been the subject of a bid by Burnle

The 23-year-old wide attacker has been at the City Ground for two years following his transfer fromWalsall in 2013.

He has scored 13 goals in 64 appearances but only started seven games last season and has a yearremaining on his contract at Forest.

The Nottingham Post reported earlier this month that Paterson was the subject of interest fromWolves, who they had also linked with the player in January.
