Optema

Optema is a range of vault doors and panels to construct modular

vaults within your existing buildings.

Panels and doors are available with several thickness options

answering specific levels of security requirements.

EFFICIENT BURGLARY PROTECTION

All Optema doors and panels are built using high-performance

materials developed by Fichet-Bauche laboratories to ensure

effective resistance against thermal and mechanical attacks.

Offering extra protection, 180 S and 280 S models are constructed

using GRADIUM – a barrier material compliant with the most

stringent of European standards. With this unique high-

performance composite, Optema 180 S and 280 S vault doors

provide reliable protection against the most recent methods of

attack, such as thermal lances and high-powered mechanical

cutting tools.

ERGONOMICS AND SECURITY

The Optema range has been ergonomically designed for ease of

use: readily accessible locks, handles requiring minimum effort to

operate and doors that open smoothly once unlocked.

Optema vault doors can also be easily connected to your on-site

alarm system or a remote surveillance station.

For additional protection, Optema models 180/180 S and 280/280 S

are built to ensure maximum homogeneity. This means complete,

seamless armour-plating of spaces between wall and frame when

the locking bar is engaged.

For secure locking, all doors offer solid steel side-bolts – three on

the 100 model and five on the 180/180 S and 280/280 S models.

280/280 S models also have an additional five bolts on the hinge

side of the door.

MODULAR PANEL ADAPTABILITY

Optema vault panels are built to the same standards as doors.

These modular panels are available in several types - wall, floor

and ceiling – that can be fitted together to assemble a secure and

custom-built vault.

Their adaptability ensures vaults can be built into existing rooms

to maximise the use of the available space (no actual building or

excavations required).

FIRE PROTECTION

Fichet-Bauche’s Optema vault doors are also certified for 2 hours

of fire resistance as per EN 13501-1 (Grade Ei1/Ei

2 120) by the

independent laboratory Efectis (testing as per EN 1634-1).

Trap doors (independent or integrated in the door) have

undergone the same tests and benefit from the same classification.

LOCKS

Answering various security requirements, Optema vault

doors are designed to be fitted with a corresponding variety

of locking systems.

Fichet-Bauche’s patented mechanical and electronic locks are

all certified as per A2P/EN 1300 standards.

M3b is a high-security mechanical lock with innovative shape

and design allowing for over 10 million different possible keys.

The Moneo S mechanical combination lock – with C/E grade

certification – can generate several million different codes. Its

scramble-on-opening feature ensures dials are automatically

reset to 0 after being used.

The KelNet electronic lock – with B, C and D grade certification

– is designed for local use as well as remote operation via a

secure network.

EMERGENCY TRAP DOORS

All vaults can be fitted with an emergency trap door which is

built and tested to the same standards as the rest of the

Optema range – just as strong and reliable.

Optema emergency trap doors are available as a stand-alone

product, ready to be inserted in any Optema vault wall or

door.

For Optema 100 and 180 S versions, the emergency trap door

is fitted with two M3b key locks, with an optional Moneo S

combination lock as a third lock.

The 280 S version is fitted with three locks – two M3b key

locks and a Moneo S combination lock.
