The company needs more than R30 million urgently to reposition itself into competitiveness by increasing production and creating jobs for thousands of people.

Norjax was the focus point of a parliamentary oversight committee on Tuesday where the company’s position was discussed at length.

The chairman, Mr Walter Moketla, explained that Agro Processors of Limpopo Ltd obtained a majority shareholding of 51% in Norjax in 2009. The shareholders are black

tomato producers in Limpopo and were supported by the provincial department of agriculture through a grant of R17 million. Processing tomato paste, purée, powder and canned tomatoes, the company showed excellent results, with a high profit margin.Limpopo Tomato Growers Association (LTGA) played a pivotal role.

At the end of 2009, processed tomato imports from China hit the South African market at rock bottom prices and Norjax lost most of its major clients to the Chinese. The company approached the International Trade Administration Committee (ITAC) on the issue, who agreed that the imported products can be classified as “dumping” and imposed a 37% import levy on the Chinese product series.

Hereafter the major clients of Norjax

returned, but the company was confronted with massive orders that could not be met. The only way forward would be to install an additional processing machine with the two existing ones at a cost of R12 million. This machine will be able to process paste and purée at a thicker density, or brix.

At this stage the products are processed at between 26 and 28 brix, while the popular demand is at a thicker 36 to 38 brix.

Norjax then approached the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) for financial help, but received a tall list of compulsory demands to adhere to before a loan could be considered.

Moketla told the commission that R31 million is needed to put the production plan on track. Apart from the R12m for the new machine, a further R18m will be required for

operational costs.“It takes at least three months before any

payment on sales gets back to the company.”He said present production lingers at

handling between 40 and 50 tons of tomatoes per day. With the new machine added, the production rate will climb from 50 tons to 500 tons per day. This may eventually create jobs for up to 36 000 people in die industry and will have a ripple effect on the employment figures of supporting firms.

The parliamentary commission of seven members was led by Ms Mmatulare Coleman. The meeting was also attended by members of the provincial departments of agriculture and economic development and the national department of economic development.

“Madam Eve is a specialist in strong erection, business success, love spells and removing witchcraft. Gogo Mathu reckons fake healers are busy harvesting where they never had sowed. She will make you gets rich easily, R15 000 every day, and does menhood enlargement, lets you win gambling and convince your partner to marry you within thirty minutes.

Dr. Shaban will not only help you with your similar erection and menhood problems, but also control your early ejaculation and win you the lotto and your court cases.

At dr. Kajawo’s, your swollen legs will get better, your lost lover will return, you will get promoted at work, your car will be protected from thieves, football problems

solved and he will “enterplate” your dreams. Dr. Shakur will finish unfinished jobs “wish” other doctors have failed in just one day,”nomatter” what! He will fight the tokoloshe, stop your partner from cheating and make you pass exams.

King Solomon Allie will double your salary and help you to get government tenders. He will bring money to your account, more than R180 000 per day!”

Verdwyn, soos twee groot borsspelde of haakspelde of sommer enige speld…

Navrae by die kommunikasiebeampte

Mangoplaas kry peperduur duiwelsvurk-heining

A criminal case will be opened soon against mem-bers of Lepelle Northern Wa-ter after an investigation by the Hawks revealed alleged corruption involving the pur-chase of laboratory equip-ment worth millions of Rand.

Proper procurement proce-dures were allegedly not fol-lowed during the purchase which cost the water board in excess of R4 million two years ago.

Sources at Lepelle North-ern Water said the supplier

sued the water board for R19 million after his contract was allegedly cancelled with-out proper procedures. The supplier also requested an out of court settlement with Lepelle Northern Water for canceling his contract.

Stabbed to deathA 23 year-old man was stabbed and died after he had stopped a fight at Abel village in Bolobedu on Sunday. According to Letsitele Police Communications Officer Const Reoh Ntsako Mabunda, the man was at Lacotte tavern when a fight broke out. The man tried to act as mediator to stop the fighting.

The man’s mother was called by members of the community and she went to the tavern to fetch her son. On their way back to their home three unknown men approached them. One of them stabbed the 23 year-old. He was taken to Dzumeri Health Centre, where he died.

Police have opened a case of murder and investigations are continuing. Const Mabunda urged those with information

to contact him or detective Heazwell Shikwambana on 073 199 1987 or 015 345 8661.

Arrested for theft of diesel

A 37 year-old suspect residing in Lusaka outside Nkowankowa was arrested for

theft of diesel in the early hours of Tuesday (about 03:00) when Letsitelepolice were busy patrolling and received an information about an unknown vehicle next to the petrol station owned by a N’wamitwa family.

Police acted quickly and found the suspect busy loading containers filled with diesel into his car. When he saw the police he fled with his motor vehicle. The police didn’t allow him to get away with it. They chased him and managed to catch up with him between Mamitwa and Tarentaalrand.

The police searched his vehicle found four 25 litre containers filled with diesel and two hose pipes used to drain the diesel from a main storage tank. The police questioned him and he took them back to the crime scene. He pointed out three containers which were also filled with diesel. He was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. Police are continuing their investigation.

Brutally killedA 37 year-old man from Malemulele has been arrested for allegedly brutally killing his 63 year-old father as well as his 81 year-old grandmother. The incident took place at Mashobye village. It is alleged that the suspect attacked his father whilst he was

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality sent a team of 98 players in eight sporting codes to Namibia, to participate in the annual Southern African International Municipal Sports Association (SAIMSA) games — which starts today and will end next week Saturday.

The maximum of 98 players will compete with the others from various Southern African municipalities in soccer, netball, fishing, pool, table tennis, darts, volley ball and golf.

The team left for Namibia yesterday, in buses organised by the GTM. Speaking during a sent- off prayer meeting held in the Council Chamber in Tzaneen, GTM mayor Dikeledi Mmetle warned the players to distance themselves from taking drugs and alcohol. She also asked them not to have a negative attitude towards one another.

She called on players to work hard to win a minimum of ten trophies in honour of former President Nelson Mandela.

“I urge all the players to go out there and make us proud and put Tzaneen on the map,” she said.

The team is accompanied by six councillors, the mayor, the municipal manager and the director of Community Services. However, it is expected that the mayor, the municipal manager and the director for Community Services will only join the team next week.

An estimated (?) amount of R650 000 has been approved by council for transport, accommodation, catering, attire and materials.

“Some of the players’ uniforms have been donated by businesses,” the municipal ma-nager told us.

Nice outing to Namibia for municipal officials

Artists from nine countries abroad, Mosambique, Botswana and South Africa are taking part in an international mural display in Tzaneen, where the walls of the municipal building are transformed into an art gallery. This is part of Heritage Month and made possible by the SA and Limpopo Arts

Council. The murals will be completed before Tuesday.

Geraas in SirkelwegA group of women from the Tzaneen area can now start their own fashion design businesses thanks to a Tzaneen skills centre. The skills centre on the Tzaneen Diocese property has been training eighteen women (in groups of six) during the past year in garment construction, basic computer skills and financial management. The course was funded by Misean Cara (the Irish Government and Catholic Church) to help women start their own small businesses. On Friday Sr Christine Martin from the Tzaneen Catholic Church led the graduation ceremony of the final group. The women showcased garments they had made and modelled dresses of their own creations.

Spele of speletjies?

Mening of feit?

Korrupsie?

7Bulletin 20 September 2013

An ordinary day for Mr Rodrick Chadehumbe in-

volves moving around from one place to another with the

aim of selling his paintings. After leaving his teaching ca-

reer to establish himself as a painter, Chadehumbe has pretty much travelled all over. He is currently based in Mbombela, but he travels between the near-by towns to sell his art. He often visits Tzaneen and spends time here.

Chadehumbe was born and bred in Zimbabwe, where he worked as a teacher for ten years, before taking on painting as a career. He has a teaching diploma and specialised in teaching pu-pils with special needs. Chadehumbe said his first objective is to gain appreci-ation for his art, because for him art has the power to influence people and their emotions.

As with most artists, Chadehumbe is faced with a big challenge to maintain sales. Sometimes he has to sell paintings at half their real value, to make ends

meet. Chadehumbe said his art portrays his view of life in Africa: he uses wildlife, ethnic colours and other “African” elements in his art.

An average painting takes him four to five days and he paints with oil on canvas. If you would like to pur-chase or view any of his paintings, Chade-humbe can be contact-ed on 074 234 2939.

At fifteen, Rodgers Hlungwani of Gi-yani had learned all the ropes of hus-

tling on the streets to make a living. After his mineworker father (who

was the family’s only bread-winner) had died, little hope for the family to survive re-mained.

“My mother started small businesses just to make ends meet. We grew up knowing how to hustle, because our

mother taught us that this was the only way to make money if you don’t want to spend your life in jail.”

Like any other unemployed young man with a belief that

Jo’burg offers a better life for all, Hlungwani at the

age of 21 went to look for work in Eg-oli — but came back to start his own business of selling goods on the streets at home. Egoli was not kind to him and he didn’t succeed in making a proper living there.

Today, at 28, Hlungwani is making his way up the charts. He sells bananas and steel wool on the streets, and owns a Spaza shop with a snooker table in one of the villages in Malamulele. “Here I have two workers helping me to sell ba-nanas. I pay them well enough to ena-ble them to feed their families,” he said.

“As you can see, I’m trying to make an honest living. I also work to be a light at the end of the tunnel for other people. My workers had nothing to show when I met them. They were spending their lives drinking, but now they lead a nor-

mal life,” he went on to say. When asked how and where he wants

to see himself in the next few years, Hlungwani told me about his passion for bike racing. He would like to see himself as a member of a racing club one day. “I’m just waiting until I have saved enough money to sell my bicycle and buy a proper racing bike.”

Meanwhile all the members of the family have become traders. “My brother sells litchis in town, while at home we have a family business selling liquor,” he said.

Paint Pot Arts and Crafts in Tzaneen will be hosting art classes especially for primary school pupils.

Ms Roanne D’Ahl, a former nursery school teacher from Johannesburg, will be teaching the aspiring artists.

D’Ahl comes from a fine art background working in oils, watercolours and pastels and held extramural classes for five years at her former school, Summerhill, in Midrand.

Whilst working with Gr 00 children she realised that children are amazing at absorbing advanced concepts if they are exposed to them.

“The more you show them how to include details using a language that they can relate to, the more it opens them up to interpret and express it in their own unique way. They are able to develop their own style through time.

“ Many children these days are so different from the past in that they are extremely creative and more right brain dominant.

“Numerous children have become almost unmanageable in our normal school systems these days with teachers not being able to get through to them through the tradition-al methods of teaching. My dream school for these kids would be based around nature and a garden with art and music to teach numeracy and literacy,” D’Ahl says.

She discovered methods through the years on how to

unlock the child’s creativity. Developing concentration levels is of paramount impor-

tance as without it no real learning can take place. Stu-dents in her classes will be given reference to follow and they will be taught how to translate this into beautiful art works through the weeks of the term.

There will be nine consecutive lessons in which at least two very attractive art pieces will be completed. Parents will be able to frame these works of art as reminders of their children’s creative expression.

D’Ahl has a very special way of encouraging confi-dence in children. She has met many parents who were constantly telling her how they struggled with school projects and how they would have to help their children (usually at the last minute) and how the children had very little confidence in their abilities.

She then started teaching children how to see details and how to draw animals, plants and more, in such a way that it helped them have more success with their projects.

One of the points she emphasises is that there are no mistakes in an art class. Children are encouraged to loos-en judgement on themselves and others during the ses-sions so that their confidence increases.

The classes at Paint Pot will be held once a week, on ei-ther Monday or Tuesday. Gr 0 to 3 can choose to have class either on Mondays or Tuesdays at 14:30-15:30 and gr 4 to 7 on Mondays or Tues-days at 15:45-17:00. The cost is R65 per lesson.

The first of the nine consecutive lessons will be on 7 October, with the last lesson on 3 De-cember. Children are urged to attend classes each week to ensure they complete their art-work, as the class works on one particular ani-mal or scene for at least four lessons.

An attendance register will be kept. Make-up classes can be arranged if the child is absent.

Art classes offered for children at Paint Pot

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality was crowned the winner of the 2013 District Greenest Municipality Competition held in Hoedspruit. The award was announced by the district mayor, Mr Joshua Matlou, and it goes with R25 000 prize money and a trophy.

Five local municipalities — Greater Tzaneen, Greater Letaba, Maruleng, Greater Giyani and Ba-Phalaborwa — participated

in the competition. In June the GTM won the first prize in the Greenest Award Competition and received a trophy and a R3,5 million cheque. They also won a PMR Golden Arrow Award 2013 and they got a certificate as the best municipality to attract local investment. At the same time, they were also awarded a PMR Silver Award which they received as the municipality which is doing the most for social upliftment.

Hier is Merensky se Bybel-kenners.

THE seven finalists for Unicorn’s Hein Kruger Afrikaans speech competition, were Donavan van Tonder, Reinhardt Scholtemeyer, Dee-Anne Preece, Gregor Andrew, Nikita Espach, Ashley McIntosh and Nsuku Muyimane. This prestigious event is a noteworthy entrance on the yearly calendar — and is responsible for its fair share of stress and worry as the date draws nearer and the children enter into frenzied preparations and a lot more Afrikaans conversation. This year’s winner was Gregor Andrew — who also reigned supreme during the earlier Robert Moss

English speech competition.

12 20 September 2013 Bulletin

In the past 24 September was known as Shaka Day in KwaZula-Natal, in commem-oration of Shaka, the legendary Zulu King. Zulu Kings and warriors gather at his grave in Stanger and honor him on this day each year.

As this day was not in-cluded in the Public Holi-days Bill, the IFP, who has a large Zulu membership, objected to the bill. As a compromise the day was declared a public holi-day, but named Heritage Day. A day that “South Africans celebrate the di-verse cultural heritage that makes up a rainbow nation. It is the day to cel-ebrate the contribution of all South Africans to the building of South Africa.”

In 2005, a passionate young man decided to transform the image of this day into Na-tional Braai Day. As most South Africans

barbeque meat in their backyards, from over a small fire next to a shack to a roaring barbeque in the suburbs of Johannesburg, this made perfect sense.

Jan Scannell, or as he became known as, Jan Braai, wanted South Af-ricans to unite and celebrate the culture we all share – braaiing. He also stated his intention was for friends and family to have a small braai, instead of a massive gather-ing.

To promote this campaign, Archbishop Desmond Tutu was brought on board in 2007.

Since then more and more South Africans have celebrat-ed this day by taking up a

pair of braai tongs and grilling boerewors and juicy meat over hot coals.Sources: www.braai.com, http://mediaclubsouthafrica.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1969:braai-240910&catid=43:culturenews&Itemid=112, http://www.sahistory.org.za/cultural-heritage-religion/national-heritage-day

The history of National Braai Day

Where can you find a delectable offering of pizza, pasta, salads, twists and kiddies op-tions all on one menu and under one roof? Panarottis in Mall of the North is the answer. Whether just popping in for a quick pizza before the movies or sharing a dinner table with family, they have what it takes to not only make sure you get exactly what you or-der, but with their healthier options you do not have to worry about the extra kilojoules.

Co-owner of Panarottis in Mall of the North, Ms Angelique Wolmarans, said they are proud of the fact that their pizzas are prepared using only the finest Italian pizza flour. ‘We offer the best ingredients available on the market,” she said.

Their healthier options are approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation and because they offer customers the option of choosing their own toppings for pizzas, they can focus on healthier alternatives if they so wish.

She pointed out that their platters are de-

lightful. Their Avo del Mezza, for example, consists of salami, olives, feta, sun-dried tomatoes and sliced avocado served with crispy garlic flat bread.

Children can look forward to creating their own pizzas.

Visit them for great specials and be sure that you’ll only receive the best meals and friendly service.

Eat healthy and save the earthLocal is lekker: Support local vendors by buying your foods at local butch-ers, green grocers or farmers. If you’re lucky enough to live close to a farmer’s market it will provide you with the biggest variety of products. Support-ing locals, also mean that you’re giving

the local economy a boost.Preserves are yummy: If you have an abundance of fruits or vegetables, why not preserve them for months when they’re not available? There are many recipes and directions on the internet for making jams, pickles and jellies.

garlic, chilli and spices until soft and fragrant.

2 Add peaches, raisins, ginger, sugar and vinegar and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to a low simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until thick and cooked through.

3 Spoon into sterilized jars and serve with samoosas and sambals, or deli meat, cheese and sarmies.

Cook’s tip: Mix equal quantities of chutney and home-made mayonnaise with a spoonful of curry powder and the juice of a lemon. Toss through chicken pieces and bake.

It already starts before the braai! Don’t go to a braai when you’re starving, you’ll end up gorging on the pre-braai snacks or overeat when the food is served. Eat a snack before you go.

Be healthy when you do snack at the braai. Options include home-made popcorn, vegetable crudités with hummus or cottage cheese and braai toasties with low GI bread, mozzarella, chutney, onion and to-mato. Use only a small amount of margarine.

When the snacks are brought out, drinks are already flowing. Choose carefully because alcohol has a lot of calories/kilojoules. If you can’t resist, alternate every alcoholic drink with a large glass of water or water down a glass of light wine with lots of ice. Weigh-watchers should limit their drinks to four drinks a week for la-dies and six for men.

Healthier drink options are home-made ice teas, ice water with slices

strawberries, berries, lemon and mint or Appletizer.

When the meat is sizzling away on the grill, start thinking about what you’re going to put on your plate. Balance is key, so make sure you have more vegetables and salad than meat and starch on your plate. Eat slowly by chatting with your family and friends while you eat.

When you start dishing up avoid the fatty steaks, chops and wors. Rather choose pork, beef or chicken fillets, sosaties/kebabs or venison. If you have the option, eat fish.

When it comes to the starch, choose lower GI-dishes: health breads, sweet potato or baby potatoes wrapped in foil and baked in the coals, mielies (corn on the cob).

Substitute the mayonnaise in a po-tato salad with cottage cheese, plain low-fat yoghurt.

Get creative with the salads. Make a rice salad with lentils, curry noodle salad, coleslaw, carrot and pineapple

salad, greek or a garden salad and some beetroot. For a sweet alternative use seasonal fruits for a fruit salad.

Vegetables can nicely round out the menu. Make vegetable sosaties/kebabs with peppers, mushrooms, baby marrows and brinjals marinat-ed in lemon juice and balsamic vin-egar.

Make a dish of mushrooms, sliced with peppers and pineapple or grilled with some garlic flakes and butter.

Finish off your braai with dessert. If you decided not to make fruit salad as a side dish, serve a bowl or kebabs as dessert with frozen yoghurt or sorbet.

Bananas in their skins on the braai are also delicious. Make it your guilty pleasure for the day and add a marshmallow and a piece of choco-late to the mix.Sources: http://www.all4women.co.za/health/health-articles/make-it-a-healthy-national-braai-day, http://www.picknpay.co.za/picknpay/content/en/household-tips-detail?oid=81774&sn=Detail&pid=3950

How to eat healthy at braaisEven if you’re on a diet or health-conscious, you can still enjoy a good braai. There are many ways to avoid eating things you shouldn’t or just eat bites of it.

1. Soak in the bathAdd a few heaping teaspoons of bak-ing soda to the water and soak for 10 min. If you stay in for longer than 20 min, your skin will dry out. Don’t dry yourself off with a towel, instead air dry and don’t wipe off the baking soda. The other option is to grab the oatmeal from the pantry and add ½ to a full cup of oatmeal to cool (not cold) wa-ter. Don’t add any bath salts or bubble bath. This will also help soothe the skin.2. Apply Aloe VeraNot only great for treating burns, Aloe Vera will reduce the redness and sting of sunburn. If you can’t find any fresh

samples, try finding an after-sun lotion or salve that contains it.3. Rub on potatoesPotatoes are not just for eating. Wash two potatoes, cut them into small chunks, then blend until liquefied. If they look too dry, add some water. Pat the burned areas with the liquid pota-toes and let it dry. Take a cool shower to wash it off.You can also apply the potato liquid to clean gauze and put it on the burn. You have to change the gauze every hour. Apply a few times per day for a few days until the pain lessens. 4. Apply used teabags

Cold English tea (Ceylon) can help to heal your sunburn. Relieve pain and swelling of sunburned eyelids by ap-plying cold, used tea bags.5. Cover it with yoghurtGreek yoghurt is not only healthy for you, but it is also reported to soothe painful sunburnt skin. Cover the sore area with a thin layer of yoghurt, leave on for about 30 min, then shower it off. You can repeat the process until your skin recovers.

Source: http://health.howstuffworks.com/skin-care/beauty/sun-care/10-home-remedies-for-sunburn.htm, http://www.koolasun.co.za/sunburn-treatment.html, http://darlene.iblog.co.za/2013/07/24/best-sunburn-relief-tips/

Treat sunburn at homeWith summer coming up and temperatures rising, the children will soon be coming home red and sunburnt after playing outside. Grabbing the after-

sun lotion is, however, not your only solution.

Eat healthy and save the earthGet rid of peels and shells: With recy-cling becoming a big priority in a lot of communities, do your bit by recycling all your peels, shells and rotten veg-

gies. Start a compost heap in half an oil drum or wooden crate. Vegetable and fruit peels, egg shells, rotten fruit and veg, as well as cut grass, leaves and fallen flowers can all be piled up.

No more ‘What’s for dinner, Mom’ with the Misty River Spur in Tza-neen, where the menu features an assortment of good, nutritional food that gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy a lovely meal without hav-ing to count calories.

Customers have the option to re-place fries and deep-fried onion rings with a lovely, fresh garden sal-

ad or two vegetables.Their steak, ribs and chicken is also

grilled and not fried and they offer delicious wraps that will leave you begging for more.

Their garden salad provides 163,2 kilojoules, with a total fat content of 0,24 per serving. The hot veg-etables, including creamed spinach and cooked pumpkin, contain 660

kilojoules with a total fat content of 10,7%. This is excellent news for those who struggle to shake excess weight while still being able to en-joy an evening out with family and friends.

The Misty River Spur invites food lovers to visit them for a scrump-tious meal and great specials, excel-lent service and a play area where kids can enjoy themselves while you sit back and relax in comfort.

With Spur’s kiddies menu the starch can also be replaced by a fresh salad or vegetables of the day to make sure your little one gets the nutrition his or her busy body needs.

Make your way to Spur this spring

Stanford alke College’s first cricket team played Ben Vorster on Saturday. SLC were sent into bat first and managed a respectable 222/10 (Ryan Botha 48 and Tam Johnson 49).

It was a good batting surface, so it was a pity that one of these batsmen didn’t capitalize on their good start. Stanford took some early wickets and put Ben Vorster under pressure, but the Vossies recovered well to win the game by 4 wickets.

“Bat, Oebil, WiePie? biet de maaitie Boels at Loftus wiff fôrtien men!” kom steek Arthur Ingelsman ‘n stok in ons en Oom Boy Louw se speke.

Black Leopards were beaten 2-1 by African Warriors at Seshego Stadium last Friday. They started their NFD campaign extremely shakily, with only one league point after two matches.

Leopards only have themselves to blame. They abused countless scoring opportunities in the opening minutes. Their lethal striker, David Zulu, unleashed prematurely, instead of moving a few steps towards the keeper, Siayonga Mbatha.

The only player who was booked for rough tackling was Meshack Maphangule of Leopards. He tackled Thamsang Ngema from behind when the game was 12 minutes old.

Kamokgelo Mabuye of Warriors intercepted a back pass by a defender of the home team and blasted in a rocket. The keeper of the home team, Dino Visser, dived in the wrong direction.

Leopards made three replacements in the second half. They introduced Brian Amidu, Thomas Madimba and Edgar Manaka respectively. Amidu went loose from the right-hand corner and unleashed a ground cutter to equalise.

After the goal, Leopards came back strongly. The players of Warriors had to abandon their positions and packed themselves at the far back. The Vhembe boys should have scored in the 66th minute, but the keeper of Warriors denied them the goal when he saved Meshack ”Mabedi” Maphangule’s shot.

The winning goal for Warriors came after a rebound in the 75th minute, when Thami Ngema scored easily. Keeper Dino Visser of Leopards had to stretch to the limit to save Siyabonga Vilani’s volley in the dying minutes.

Soccer and netball teams from farms in the Greater Letaba and Maruleng districts dominated the Mopani Farm Sports Festival, organised by the Limpopo Department of Sports, Arts and Culture. The festival was held at the Hlanganani Centre between the Du Roi Nursery and Mahela Boerdery outside Letsitele.

A total of thirty farms from across the Mopani district took part in the competition. The Mokgoba Netball Team from Modjadjiskloof came first and was followed by Richmond from Hoedspruit. Noorde Winkel from Politsi

came third and was followed by Uni-Fruitti of Maruleng.

Colleta Magadhagadha was named player of the tournament in the netball. In the clashes between female soccer teams, Tzaneen got a little bit of life when their team, Shining Stars, and Letaba Estates got positions 1 and 2 respectively. Scholtz, Mokgoba and APC Highlanders, all of them from Greater Letaba, took positions 3, 4 and 5 respectively.

This category was closed by Letaba Citrus from Tzaneen in sixth place. In this category Wionny Moagi of Shining Stars in Tzaneen was named player of the tournament.

In the male football Richmond farm from Hoedspruit was the winning team and Letaba Citrus and Letaba

Estates from the GTM district came second and third respectively.
