We will be cleaning up the fence line at CC. We can use all of the help that we can get so be sure to bring eye protection, gloves, shears, rakes & any other tools

When my mom found out that she was pregnant with me, she told

my dad and he didn’t want anything to do with us. My mom then tried to

have a “natural” abortion with no success so she abandoned me. Some peo-

ple said she left me at a trash can, others said she left me at the beach and

then called my dad to pick me up. I went to live with my dad who was mar-

ried to the woman whom my dad left my mom for. She didn’t like me at all.

She abused me physically and verbally. My dad was a Vietnam veteran who

was an alcoholic. They got divorce and my dad left me with my stepmom.

One good memory I have from my childhood are the nuns at church.

They were in love with Jesus. I loved Jesus too but He wasn’t first in my life

during that time. I wanted to be a nun and dedicate my life to Jesus but I also

wanted to be a mom. Looking for love in all the wrong places, I got married

twice. Both of them were abusive and addicted to drugs, alcohol and women.

They both divorced me; it was definitely not my choice. I was broken and

ashamed of myself because I had divorced twice. I put my trust in them, and

they betrayed me.

A friend of mine invited me to the Tabernacle several times so I de-

cided to go because I was tired of her asking me. I went to The Tabernacle

for the first time in 2007. I will never forget something happening to me that

day. I fell in love with God. I gave my life to Him. I knew about God all my

life but I didn’t have a relationship with Him. I did all the talking when I

prayed. I didn’t listen to him or wait for Him to guide me. I put men first in

my life instead of God. I will never forget, it was October 27th, 2007 when I

made the decision to give my life to Jesus and let Him control my life. I

know God will take care of me no matter what goes on around me. I just

keep falling in love with God over and over again. I don’t want to do any-

thing that grieves Him. I want to please Him in all I do. He also chose me to

be Pastor Danny’s wife and we have a great marriage. Jesus is our first love

and the King of our souls. Together we are going to do great things for the

Kingdom of God. I’m thankful because my past makes me the woman I am

today. Keep your eyes on God, not man. Make Him your Lord and Savior

and just wait and see what He does in you and through you. I beg you in my

spirit; let the love of God transform you just like it did to me.
