My dear brothers and sisters, where has time gone? The fifth Sunday of Easter is already upon us! I think the readings are a great reminder to us of the necessity of staying connected to Christ. He is the vine, we are the branches. Imagine this time of year at a vineyard. The vines have both dead branches and those beginning to blossom. This image is what I think about as we walk our Easter journey. Have we tapped into his renewing grace that is offered to us this Easter season or are we just going with the flow not receiving the life re-newing grace that is offered to us? The challenge is to stay tapped in and continuously return to Christ. We have so many distractions an options in our lives that Christ can seem just another choice to make on Sunday morning. Let us not make bad decisions, instead let us stay connected to Christ each day. Have a great week. Fr. Arthur

Queridos hermanos y hermanas, donde se ha ido el tiempo? El quinto Domingo de Pascua ya está so-bre nosotros! Yo creo que las lecturas son un gran recordatorio para nosotros de la necesidad de estar contactados a Cristo. Él es el vid, nosotros somos las ramas. Imagínense este tiempo del año en un viñero. Las vides tienen algunas ramas muertas y también aquellas que están comenzando a florecer. Esta imagen es la que yo pienso mientras camina-mos en nuestro viaje de Pascua. Hemos roscado en su renovación en gracia, la cual esta ofrecida para nosotros dúrate la temporada de Pascua, o so-lo estamos con la corriente y no estamos recibien-do la vida en su renovación de gracia que esta ofre-cida para nosotros? El desafío es estar roscados y volver continuamente a Cristo. Tenemos muchas distracciones como opciones en nuestras vidas que Cristo pueda parecer solo otra opción para hacer los Domingos por la mañana. No cometamos ma-las decisiones, en cambio, quedémonos conectados a Cristo todos los días. Tenga una buena semana. Padre, Arthur.
