A Membership Class will begin on April 7th and run for 9 weeks. Anyone interested should contact either Pastor Phil or the church office to sign up. This also includes teenagers who are interested. The classes are necessary for membership, but those attending are free to join or wait.

The 20’s and 30’s Class is set to begin again on April 7th! This class will continue to serve EGCC attendees who are high school graduates up through their 30’s. The primary focus of this class is to encourage and em-power the future leaders of our ever-growing,

ever-evolving church. This is a unique type of class for EGCC in that it is a discussion based class that focuses on issues as they relate to Christian Life. This class is run in a discussion format and there is often a video integrated into the lessons.

Consider helping us decorate our sanctuary for Easter with the donation of a Easter flower or two in memory or honor of someone dear to you. The money received will be used to

purchase live Easter flowers. The cost of the flower is $22.

Place your donation in a “flower envelope” found in the pew racks, then put it in the offering plate or

bring/send it to the church office no later than March 24th.

A listing of those remembered and by whom will be included in the church bulletin.

If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Kelly

Ladies - We encourage you to place your registration and deposit in the

box in the foyer this week.

There have been some questions about the “free-time” scheduled for

Saturday afternoon. You will have choices of planned activities (TBA) as

well as use of Camp of the Woods facilities such as the pool, gyms, rock

climbing wall, and the book/gift store. Many women take some time to

enjoy the beautiful scenery by walking along the lake. Our speakers will

be available to those who would like to meet them. We encourage you

to use some of Saturday afternoon to connect with others and also to

spend some time in ”retreat” processing what God has been saying spe-

cifically to you.

Attention Readers!

The next gathering of our book group is going to be on Friday evening, March

15th at 7pm at the home of Melisa Olson. We will be discussing the historical

fiction novel, "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet" by Jamie Ford.

Ford, an award-winning short-story writer, has set his debut novel

in Seattle during the internment of Japanese Americans through-

out the period of World War II. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter

and Sweet looks at the best and worst of human relationships

and reminds us that there is always room---and time---for for-

giveness and redemption. This is a story that you'll remember long after the last

page has been turned. There are plenty of copies of this book to be found at local

libraries. All women are more than welcome to join us at any time. Please call

Melisa at 388.9211 to RSVP or with any questions.

Lose It For Life is not about dieting. It’s not about

exercising. There are no quick fixes, magic diets, or

promises of a thin body. Losing the weight and

keeping it off may have more to do with changing

what you’re thinking and feeling at any given mo-

ment than what you’re eating or whether you’re in a regular exercise

program. Lose It For Life is about creating a lifestyle of permanent

weight management that emphasizes the whole you: your spirit,

mind, body and emotions. Come join us on Monday, March 18th

at 6:45pm - No cost!
