Men's Bible Study group will resume gathering in
person Wednesdays at 6:30 am at Beautiful Savior. If
you have been thinking of joining the group, now is a
great time to join your brothers in Christ as we study
God's Word, lift each other up through fellowship, and
share breakfast each week. Right now, we are studying
1 Corinthians. If you are interested in joining, simply
show up. The only thing you need to
bring is your appetite! If you have any
questions or would like to be added
to the email distribution list, please
contact Chuck Tuttle.
THIS WEEK IN SUNDAY SCHOOL Today Sunday
School students studied “God Controls the Sun and the
Moon” (Joshua 10:1-15). Help students understand that
God extended the daylight so Joshua and the children
of Israel could gain complete victory over their enemy.
Parents could ask, “Why was it important for the people
to gain complete victory? How does God give us the
victory over our enemies: sin, death, and the devil?”

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Young Adult Ministry has been meeting over the past
few months to discuss the history of the Christian
church, based on our reading Christian History Made
Easy by Dr. Timothy Paul Jones. It has given us the
opportunity to reflect on what the Church has dealt
with in the past and how it informs our actions for
today. It has been my pleasure going through this with
you all. For those who are interested in joining, you can
still feel free to come and join us at Beautiful Savior in
the sanctuary from 7:30 – 9:00 pm or at 7:45 pm on
3
BSLC’s YouTube page online for our remaining
sessions: June 24 (Chapter 11), and July 8 (Chapter 12).

STEWARDSHIP CORNER
In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus warns us about how our
attitude toward money and things can affect our response
to God’s Word. Jesus stated that some “seeds fell among
thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them” (Matthew
13:7). He explained, “As for what was sown among thorns,
this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world
and deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves
unfruitful” (Matthew 13:22). Having money and
possessions can deceive you into believing that nothing is
more important than owning things and enjoying the
things money can buy. If the love of money controls your
heart, God is pushed aside and your eternity with Him is
endangered.
THE INCREDIBLE GENEROUSITY OF GOD PROMPTS US TO GIVE GENEROUSLY. “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
