I was in a relationship for six months. He became very violent towards me, towards my kids.
Our families . . . are homeless or unstably housed, and they have multiple complex needs. . .
I think having a roof over our heads and a place to come home to every night that took a huge stress off.
. . . our [PUSH] staff are called service coordinators, and they’re the single point of contact for all the services that the families need.
. . . being able to hear my voice, to understand the resources that I needed to be able to keep myself and my kids safe, it made a huge impact . . .
