Introduction

Bugatti was the company that made the Super Sport. The company was founded in 1909 in Molsheim, then in Germany, now France as a manufacturer of high performance cars by the Italian Ettore Bugatti. The company went out of existence in 1963 and now came back. At the moment Bugatti is owned by the German company Volkswagen AG.

Engine

Configuration of the engine is 72º W16 Location Mid, it is placed longitudinally. Constructed lightly, has an alloy block and head Displacement. It is 7.993 litre / 487.8 cu in Bore / Stroke 86.0 mm (3.4 in) / 86.0 mm (3.4 in) Compression 8.3:1. Has 4 cylinders, DOHC Fuel feed Fuel Injection. Has 1200 bhp / 895 KW and 6400 rpm of Torque, 1500 Nm / 1106 ft lbs. 

Body

The Veyron Super Sport's body has been even more streamlined compared to before. The rear has been reworked removing the previous Veyron's massive engine scoops and relocating  them onto the roof. There are now two exhaust pipes with a wider but shorter design compared to the single square shape like before. The deployable spoiler still remains and also acts as an air brake that alone can have the same stopping power of an ordinary hatchback.

Stats

• It will be limited at 415 km/h(or 257.8 mph), just over 10 mph short of the actual record speed it reached.

• At 268 mph, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport's tires turn at roughly 53 revolutions per second(3,180 rpm).

• Acceleration is a bit faster in the 1,200-horsepower Super Sport, with 62 mph arriving in 2.5 seconds, 124 mph in 7.3 seconds, and 187 mph in 16.7 seconds.

• Fuel consumption is huge, drinking down 6.3 mpg just for a trip around town.

• The $38,000 tires and $21,000 service appointments are one of the big payments apart from the car itself.

• Bugatti loses money for every Super Sport they sell. But they don't mind as long as they hold the record for fastest production car
