• All year we have talked about goals• Our biggest goal is that you will get what you
want out of this life.

What’s a Bucket List?
• A bucket list is a list of things you want to do. • The original idea is “a list of things you want to
do before you die” but we have some other things.
• We want you each to take some time to fill up your bucket list, and then share with us some of these things

The Possibilities Are Endless
• How many times have you heard that?!• At this point in your life absolutely anything is
possible

Overarching Career Goal
• This goal needs to be big and broad, don’t make it something like “I want to be a teacher” make it something you want to do with your career
• Examples:– I want to be an educator who can honestly say that I changed
someone’s life someday. – I want to design a product that will change the modern world like
Apple did– I want to manage the career of the basketball player who
everyone says is “the best there ever was”

Overarching Life Goal
• In here we often talk to you about wanting to get a career, follow your dreams, go to college. This goal can be so much more broad. Put down a few things you want to do before your 30, or 50. Life things!
• Examples:• I want to spend time in every state in the United States• I want to be invited to the wedding of one of my students• I want to climb the fifty tallest mountains in the country• I want to have a family.

Career Goal
• This is where you can talk about wanting to be a teacher, or a car salesman, or a sports manager. Tell us what you want to do!
• Remember you can have more than one career goal!• Examples:
– I want to be a member of the United Nations– I want to work for a non-profit company benefiting research for
Alzheimer's

First Job Out of College Goal
• Your first job out of college is likely not going to be a CEO, or Manager of a major NBA star.
• Think about where you want to start so that you can reach your overall goal.
• Examples:• I want to work in the office of an NBA team in any role to
gain experience• I want to work with students, in whatever means possible.

College Goal
• You knew this was coming right? No way you could go to a UB session without talking about college!
• Write down a few goals for college regarding: • Examples:
– What do you want to study?– What do you want to accomplish while you are there?– What are some things you want to do while you are in college?

• At this time you are all in Brockton High School, talk to me about something you want to do before you graduate!
• At least one goal should be academically focused!• Examples:
