You will be able to select the most appropriate methods and techniques for undertaking detailed research. You will have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to identify suitable source material and to apply the information in context. You will acquire the skills to distinguish between primary and secondary sources, to evaluate the validity of such sources, and to extract the necessary information from them. You will then be able to synthesise research material into an appropriate form for presentation (see below). </p> <p>ScenarioAn online music magazine are looking to hire a team of writers, researchers and documentary makers. To apply for a role at the company, applicants must present evidence that they have had experience with investigative journalism and present an example of their work.
