I’m absolutely delighted that you’re interested in booking a portrait session with me. I promise to deliver images that give your heart pause and remind you that you are so deeply loved by those that surround you.

I’d love to share with you a few more details about my portrait sessions...

BeforeAfter booking, clients receive several electronic forms that help me to plan for your session. Once I receive the forms, we will find a time to discuss and prepare for your session. Your session will be tailored to your specific needs! What are the little details you want to remember about your children? What are you favorite activities to do together as a family? It’s my deepest desire to elicit the moments and emotions that will forever leave an imprint on your heart. Are you wanting to hang canvases or framed prints on your living room walls? Are you wanting to send out birth announcements or family Christmas cards? Are you hoping to make a beautiful fam-ily album to gift to grandparents or to keep on your coffee table for your children to enjoy as they grow up? Learning more about what you plan to do with your images will empower us to together create photographs that you will always cherish.

DuringSessions take place on location at a local county park or at your home. I truly believe that while the location provides the backdrop that best suits your personal style, it is the interactions that take place during the session that truly create meaningful and timeless images. I’m happy to offer wardrobe suggestions, and as a general rule, I recommend that simple, comfortable clothes work best.

Sessions last approximately one hour. We will play, explore, and enjoy lightly guided activities that will draw out genuine expressions of joy and heartfelt moments of love. Please feel free to bring drinks or snacks for your little ones and yourself as we will take breaks as needed. It is always my goal to make your session relaxed and stress-free. The best compliment I receive from children at the end of my sessions is that they don’t want to leave yet!

Outdoor sessions are scheduled either during the three hours after sunrise or during the three hours before sunset. The light during this time of day is most flattering for portraits. In home sessions may take place anytime during daylight hours.

AfterWithin three weeks of your session, I will deliver an online gallery of images to you. Additionally, I’m more than happy to offer personalized consultations about products in which you’re interested. I want you to enjoy your images for years to come!

Sessions are typically booked several months in advance, so if you are interested in a specific date, please con-tact me as soon as possible so that I can accomodate your schedule.
